Chapter 551: Chapter 156: Troublemaker Rabbit [Part Three] Fourth Update_3

Qin Shou had already tried, and after being thrown out by the great path chain, he basically couldn’t enter a state to comprehend Dao for a short period, so, he wasn’t planning to continue cultivation. Instead, he was pondering what to do next...

Clearly, the issue with Hanyue had been resolved.

And since Baldy wasn’t in the Nether River, there was no need for him to stay there either.

But Qin Shou was still a bit worried, fearing that Hanyue, being alone, might be attacked by the Asuras again.

As for the Nether River Patriarch? Qin Shou was still somewhat suspicious.

Plus, Qin Shou really wanted to take Hanyue away; the Nether River was truly not a place fit for living.

With Hanyue unconscious, no matter how much Qin Shou thought, it was pointless. After all, this was something he ultimately had to discuss with Hanyue.

Just as Qin Shou was bored out of his mind, there was a knock at the door.

Qin Shou was puzzled, for he had no friends in the Nether River, so who could be knocking at his door?

Upon opening the door, Qin Shou was amused to find that the visitor was an acquaintance!

Long hair and a dark face, it was none other than Lan Sha, the Water Mirror Soul Reaver who had knocked his head on the floor over three thousand times!

"Is it you?" Qin Shou asked in surprise, "You’re not here for a rematch, are you?"

Upon hearing this, Lan Sha quickly bowed and said, "I, ’Your Rabbitness,’ you misunderstand, I’m here to apologize."

Qin Shou looked at Lan Sha skeptically. This guy was different from the other Asuras; he had more cunning, something Qin Shou saw clearly. Especially when meeting for the first time, Lan Sha’s way of doing things had shown this.

For these cunning individuals, Qin Shou essentially did not want to interact with them too much, so he waved his hand and said, "Fine, I heard you, you can go now."

After finishing his sentence, Qin Shou was about to close the door.

Lan Sha quickly blocked the door, pleading earnestly, "Your Rabbitness, please don’t be like this. I have other matters..."

Qin Shou said, "Whatever your other matters are, that’s none of my business. Hurry up and leave."

"Other, other matters, Your Rabbitness! Listen to me, I’ve come to make a transaction with you!" Lan Sha was now anxious and couldn’t help but reveal his purpose.

Qin Shou was taken aback and asked, "A transaction?"

Lan Sha chuckled and said, "Yes, a transaction. May I come in to sit for a while?"

Qin Shou shook his head and said, "No! Just say what you want to do, I’m listening."

Lan Sha said, "Your Rabbitness, tell me, do you still have any of the liquor? The kind you gave to Ilka and the others to drink yesterday."

Qin Shou raised an eyebrow, beginning to understand Lan Sha’s intent, and narrowed his eyes, asking, "You want the liquor?"

Lan Sha answered, "Exactly."

Qin Shou looked up and asked, "Liquor, I still have some. But what are you offering in exchange?"

Lan Sha immediately produced something and handed it over. Qin Shou took it and looked; it was a bead, dark and inconspicuous, its quality indiscernible. However, the bead felt cool to the touch, and Qin Shou could sense that it contained a tremendous amount of pure Yin energy!

Lan Sha said, "This is a pure Yin bead of excellent quality, harboring a tremendous amount of pure Yin energy. I offer this bead for a jar of your liquor, how about that?"

Qin Shou had indeed discovered the wonders of pure Yin energy long ago: it could make the cells in his body shut up for a short time, stopping them from being rowdy. It was a treasure essential to his cultivation!

Qin Shou was indeed tempted, but he showed no sign of it, instead looking at Lan Sha with a nonchalant expression, saying, "My liquor is fine wine! I, ’Your Rabbitness,’ brought it down from Heaven, and you want to trade it with this trinket?"

Lan Sha was anxious, "Your Rabbitness, this bead of mine is of excellent quality. In any place, it’s a top-notch treasure. If made into a magic treasure, its power would definitely be formidable."

Qin Shou shook his head and said, "My fine wine is also no less exceptional. Didn’t those Asuras drink it yesterday? Didn’t they all break through their bottlenecks? A drink that can help people break through, tell me, how much is that worth?"

Lan Sha fell silent... He knew very well that he wasn’t here for the taste of the liquor but for a breakthrough in strength.

In the Nether River, strength equaled life, equaled ascending the Seven Kill Tower, equaled honor, equaled everything!

So, by that calculation, Qin Shou’s liquor was indeed more valuable than his bead.

After hesitating for a moment, Lan Sha asked, "Your Rabbitness, then what do you think would be a fair trade?"

Qin Shou smiled and said, "I find the cultivation technique and magic you practice quite interesting. You pass those on to me, and I’ll give you the liquor, how about that?"

Upon hearing this, Lan Sha decisively shook his head and said, "That won’t do... That’s the skill upon which I make my living. If I were to pass it on to you and it gets out, wouldn’t that spell disaster for me?"

Qin Shou patted Lan Sha and reassured him, "Don’t be agitated, rest assured, ’Your Rabbitness’ has at least that bit of rabbit honor. You pass it on to me, and I absolutely won’t spread it around, how about that?"

Lan Sha was somewhat tempted.

Qin Shou quickly seized the moment to strike while the iron was hot, saying, "I can swear to Heaven, I absolutely won’t spread it around, if I do, may I be struck by five thunders!"

At this, Qin Shou subconsciously licked his lips and swallowed, thinking that it had been quite some time since he’d tasted the flavor of thunder... considering whether to simply break his oath and endure a couple of lightning bolts for the thrill of it.

Lan Sha, unaware of Qin Shou’s thoughts, pondered for a while before asking, "Your Rabbitness, is your liquor guaranteed to make one break through one’s bottleneck?"

Qin Shou shook his head decisively, "That I can’t guarantee. The same liquor, once inside different people, will definitely have different effects. Some might break through, others might not."

"What if they can’t break through?" Lan Sha asked.

Qin Shou spread his hands and said, "Then just keep drinking, right? There’ll come a time for a breakthrough, right?"
