Chapter 392: Chapter 5: Fine Lime Powder_1

"Immortal, you... is this the legendary ’words follow the law’?" Just now Queen Baili had closed her eyes due to the shouting and didn’t see Qin Shou’s perfectly standard loogie shooting.

Qin Shou tilted his head up with immense pride and patted Queen Baili’s long leg, saying, "You’re quick on the uptake, but no, this isn’t ’words follow the law,’ this is ’spit to shut you up’ magic!"

"Er... what is he doing then?" Queen Baili asked.

Qin Shou said gravely, "He’s probably retching..."

Queen Baili: "..."

The White-scaled Python seemed to have heard Qin Shou’s words and suddenly turned its head, glaring fiercely at Qin Shou. Its massive mouth was about to open when it saw the Rabbit’s little pout, and it immediately closed its mouth, its eyes red with fury as it continued to glare at Qin Shou.

Qin Shou, with his hands on his hips and head thrown back, said, "What are you looking at? Your face looks like a spittoon, and yet you’re acting all fierce!"

The White-scaled Python suddenly turned and lashed its tail at Qin Shou!

The White-scaled Python was enormous, like a train, and when it swung its tail at Qin Shou, it covered everyone nearby, clearly intent on killing as many as possible in one blow!

Queen Baili’s face turned pale with fright!

General Shangguan Hongye bravely stepped forward to shield Her Majesty with his spear, then closed his eyes to await death.

Seeing this, Qin Shou shook his head and suddenly soared into the air, shouting, "Loach, look up!"

The White-scaled Python instinctively looked up, only to see a Rabbit enlarge in mid-air and transform into a towering giant Monkey!

The giant Monkey, with white fur and red palms, descended from the sky and stomped the White-scaled Python’s tail into the ground! No matter how it struggled, it couldn’t move!

The White-scaled Python opened its mouth and let out a miserable scream!

"Roar..."

Cough—Ptui!

The great Monkey spat out a loogie!

The White-scaled Python was prepared and promptly closed its mouth, but...

Splat!

A loogie landed right on the White-scaled Python’s face!

The White-scaled Python immediately turned its head and started rubbing its ugly face against the ground... it was clearly revolted!

Qin Shou didn’t care about that, delivering another stomp, pinning the White-scaled Python’s neck into the mud, and then winding up his fist to smash down on the beast’s head as he cursed, "Damn it! Eat my harem, will you? I’ll let you eat! Let you eat!"

Thud thud thud...

Qin Shou, transformed into Zhuyan, known as a War Beast, had immense strength, and each punch landing was like the sound of war drums, causing the ground to heave as if waves were rolling!

Shangguan Hongye, escorting Queen Baili and leading a group of guards, ran for their lives. Behind them, chaos reigned as buildings collapsed one after another...

For the first time, Queen Baili regretted having brought the Rabbit into the palace, thinking to herself, "This isn’t an Immortal; this is a demolition crew, right?"

After Qin Shou’s furious pounding, the White-scaled Python was smashed into stillness.

What surprised Qin Shou the most was that throughout the ordeal, the White-scaled Python hadn’t spat out a single drop of blood!

Qin Shou leaned in, grabbed the snake’s head, and with a forceful twist, tore off a huge tongue. But what he saw was...

"What the hell is this?!" Qin Shou looked at the White-scaled Python in front of him, utterly baffled.

Inside this seemingly living big snake was a pile of lime powder! There were bones inside, and upon a closer look, they seemed fossilized!

As soon as the bone left the body of the White-scaled Python, it went ’poof’ and turned into a pile of lime powder...

Among the heap of lime powder were some little balls, which, when picked up and examined, turned out to be all his harem beauties! Only now, these beauties had all become statues of lime powder, and Qin Shou pondered that, if thrown into a fire, they could be considered a lime powder version of a Cultivation Rabbit.

Qin Shou was a bit flustered.

He had been an Immortal for quite some time now, seen almost all sorts of creatures—from those Heavenly Gods with only a hint of True Spirit left to Immortals who attained their status through cultivation, as well as all sorts of immortal beings. But he had never seen anything that was still alive after turning into a bunch of fossil bones and a heap of lime powder!

Qin Shou scratched his head and muttered, "Is this a Stone Ash Spirit or a lime powder spirit?"

Queen Baili approached and said, "Throughout the ages, there have been countless strange and fantastical beings. Perhaps this one is indeed a Stone Ash Spirit."

Qin Shou nodded without giving it much thought, simply curious as he asked, "Regardless of what spirit it is, I just want to know, why did it come here for no reason? Was it just to eat my harem beauties?"

"Immortal, there’s another snake about to escape the city. Maybe that’s its accomplice. Catch it and then we can find out," Shangguan Hongye said.

Qin Shou looked up and asked, "Is it made of flesh or is it lime?"

Shangguan Hongye was stunned for a moment, then caught on and said, "It should be flesh, I guess..."

Whoosh!

A figure darted out, followed by a loud noise: "Little mudfish, get in the pot!"

Hearing this, everyone present broke out in a cold sweat, wondering if Immortals were really made through eating. Maybe they should also increase their food intake when they got home and give it a try?

At the same time, Queen Baili shouted, "Immortal, the map is also in the treasury!"

Qin Shou followed up with a shout of his own, "Little mudfish, you’ve just added another crime to your list!"

The big snake, seemingly frightened by the Monkey’s roar, let out an alarmed cry and ran even faster. However, what puzzled Qin Shou was that the snake wasn’t running in a straight line but was darting around wildly, crashing everywhere.

At first, Qin Shou thought the snake was playing some kind of guerrilla hide-and-seek with him. But then he noticed that the snake, several times, banged itself against particularly hard buildings, crying out in pain...and then turned around to crash into them again.

Watching the snake’s near self-destructive rampage, Qin Shou was completely dumbfounded, thinking, What kind of bizarre antics are these?

Just then, the sound of horse hooves came from below, and when Qin Shou looked, he saw Queen Baili leading the charge, shouting, "Immortal, take me with you!"

Qin Shou rolled his eyes and replied, "Take you? Have you ever seen anyone bring along a drag in battle?"

The Queen said indignantly, "You can fly with me, and I can help you!"

Qin Shou shook his head, cheekily saying, "Forget it, start by losing some weight first..."

The Queen looked aggrieved, "..."

Then she actually pinched her own tight stomach, saying in confusion, "But there’s no excess fat at all."

Unable to watch this any longer, Qin Shou pointed out, "Look up! Can’t you see the two Meteor Hammers?"

The Queen: "..."

Qin Shou didn’t bother with her any longer and turned his attention back to the big snake.

The big snake was running wildly through the city, causing chaos everywhere, but finally, it found its direction and started heading towards the city walls.

By now, Qin Shou had pretty much figured out that the snake was either blind or a fool. There was no hope it could find the city gate; being able to find the city wall was good enough.

Wherever the big snake went, houses and carriages were simply crushed beneath it, akin to a road roller storming through a cornfield, unable to be stopped by anyone.

The brave female soldiers tried everything—from spears to arrows—but they couldn’t even scratch the big snake’s scales.
