Rabbit Must Die
Chapter 367 - 362: Going Home_1

Chapter 367: Chapter 362: Going Home_1

As the rabbit looked up, its face innocently curious, it asked, "Are there any snacks? Then hurry up and serve them?"

Dog Xiaotian, Yang Jian: "..."

On the way, Yang Jian didn’t speak much. After entering the Southern Gate, he promptly left with Dog Xiaotian, while Qin Shou headed straight for the Moon Palace.

Upon reaching the moon, from a distance, Qin Shou could see the changes that had taken place. With the emergence of rivers and the replenishment of Yuan Qi by spirit stones, the osmanthus trees blossomed with more and more flowers. The golden osmanthus flowers nearly covered both sides of the riverbed, creating an incredibly beautiful sight!

When the wind blew, it was like a shower of golden rain...

Following the river further, Fenghua City had undergone earth-shattering changes. Not only had the rare and exotic herbs inside become more vibrant and luscious, but the people inside were also bustling with life and energy.

Finally, looking at the Moon Palace, although there was no one inside, it was no longer a bare place. There were flowers and trees, the grass long and the orioles flying, with birds chirping and fragrance filling the air – everything one could wish for.

As he entered the great gates of the Moon Palace, Qin Shou felt all the muscles in his body relax, and he became languid and lazy.

Qin Shou knew this was the feeling of home. No matter the storms outside, the wild beasts, or the scheming and fighting, once home, those things would fade away. The sense of security from deep within the soul allowed him to relax completely.

Lying on a chair, sipping a small drink, Qin Shou squinted his eyes and murmured, "Comfortable..."

The time hadn’t come for Chang’e to return, so Qin Shou wasn’t in a rush to shout or look for her in the Moon Palace.

As Qin Shou was comfortably lying there, suddenly the sound of water drew his attention—it came from Qingshu Hall!

A flicker of realization crossed Qin Shou’s eyes as he thought, "Could it be that the silly girl skipped class today to swim?"

With that in mind, Qin Shou’s spirit perked up. Remembering Chang’e’s perfect, graceful figure, he couldn’t hold back any longer. Letting go of any sense of tiredness, he made a beeline for Qingshu Hall.

Arriving at the entrance, without a second thought, Qin Shou donned a pair of trunks, put on a swimming cap, and with both hands, he pushed open the great doors while shouting, "I’m back!"

Bang!

The doors flew open!

Two astonished cries came from inside Qingshu Hall, "Who is it?!"

Qin Shou peered inside and instantly felt dumbfounded!

In the water, a lady retracted into the stream, looking at Qin Shou in surprise!

The other, seated on a lounge chair by the pool, hurriedly covered her body with a towel, her face blushing as she looked his way.

On a closer look, Qin Shou recognized them both—very familiar faces. He knew them!

And those majestic peaks at their chests— even more familiar... He swore he must have touched the one in the water before!

Then it dawned on Qin Shou, and he exclaimed, "He Xiangu, Flower Fairy?! What are you doing in my home?"

He Xiangu was in the water while Flower Fairy was on the shore. Qin Shou had never imagined that his swimming pool, intended for fun with Chang’e (mainly feasting his eyes), would bring such an unexpected surprise.

Qin Shou hadn’t finished appreciating the sight when suddenly someone lifted him by the ears, and then he heard Chang’e’s voice scolding, "Yu’er, no peeking, go play somewhere else!"

Then Qin Shou was tossed aside, and the door slammed shut!

Qin Shou stood at the door muttering, and called out, "Is that really necessary? I’ve seen enough, what’s the difference between glancing and staring? Can you take me swimming with you?"

The door opened, and Chang’e walked out holding a broom!

Qin Shou decisively turned and walked away, waving his hand and saying, "I’ll go get some food..."

Chang’e pressed her lips into a smile and said, "Make extra, we’ve got guests today."

Qin Shou nodded and headed to the kitchen.

Qin Shou’s culinary skills were quite good, and his Xumi Bag was full of prepared dishes and various ingredients. With little effort, he filled a big table to the brim.

Before long, three beauties strolled over from a distance. They must have said something amusing, because they laughed at the same time, and that laughter was so charming that Qin Shou’s eyes nearly popped out...

Qin Shou spent every day with Chang’e, a peerless beauty, so his resistance to beauties was quite strong, but at this moment, the three breathtaking women in their elegant ancient attire seemed to embody the beauty of nature with every move they made, every frown and smile seemed to capture the charm of the world, not just men, even women couldn’t help casting additional glances.

Qin Shou shook his head, thinking, "If they were on Earth, any one of them would be a calamity-causing beauty... And if I posted a short video of this, damn, I’d shoot straight to stardom, wouldn’t I?"

Lost in his wild thoughts, the three ladies had already taken their seats. Either because immortals naturally have strong minds, or perhaps because Qin Shou was a rabbit, neither He Xiangu nor the Flower Fairy seemed to dwell on what had just happened.

For the first time, Qin Shou felt that being a rabbit was actually quite nice...

They say three women make a drama, adding a toy to that and it would be quite a show!

Qin Shou honorably became that toy, now cuddled by one, now tugged by another at the rabbit ears. At first, he resisted a bit, but later he realized resistance was futile and simply sprawled on one’s chest for a while, then rolled on another’s thigh. Squinting at the three stunning faces, Qin Shou felt utterly content and murmured to himself, "Ah... I hope these days will last forever..."

Night fell, and He Xiangu along with the Flower Fairy took their leave. Qin Shou and Chang’e once again went up to the Stargazing Tower to watch the stars in the sky...

"Yu’er, you said the Jade Emperor is in seclusion? Why would he go into seclusion? With so much administration, who will take care of it if he’s gone?" Chang’e asked curiously.

Qin Shou shook his head and said, "I don’t know, let whoever care about it, as long as they don’t bother us, it’s fine."

Chang’e said, "That’s true..."

Chang’e held Qin Shou in her arms, leaning against the railing, and looked up at the dazzling river of stars with a light laugh, "Let’s not worry about that, I’m already satisfied with our life now. We have food, friends, you... an easy and happy life, how wonderful."

Qin Shou nodded in agreement, but in his heart, he was a bit worried, worried about his illness... His strength had been repressed and hadn’t improved, but the demand for Yuan Qi in his body was clearly increasing day by day. For now, the karmic bonds on him could suppress it. But what if one day the karma wasn’t enough, and there was a shortage of Yuan Qi?

Just thinking about it gave him a headache...

Originally planning to go to Emperor Shun Mountain to find the Chonghua Sutra, the sudden seclusion of the Jade Emperor had caused a stir, and he was brought back by the Erlang God.

"Looks like I’ll need to find an opportunity to go down and search again..." Qin Shou murmured to himself.

After Chang’e fell asleep, Qin Shou whistled and strolled down to the King of Osmanthus Tree.

Now Wu Gang had stopped chopping the tree and spent his days sitting underneath it, savoring the delicious food that Qin Shou instructed Shakun and others to bring in turns. His days were also incredibly joyful.
