Chapter 274: Chapter 271 - Rabbit! I’m Going All Out With You [Subscribe Please]_1
The Daoist boy laughed, "My master, unmatched under heaven and earth, possesses both Changsheng and invincible magic. Would you like to learn?"
The Stone Monkey immediately became overjoyed and shouted, "I’ll learn!"
The Daoist boy laughed, "Well then, you...ouch!"
The Daoist boy hadn’t finished speaking when he suddenly felt the Immortal Crane sink, almost causing him to tumble off!
Looking down, the Daoist boy saw an incredibly plump Rabbit actually poking his Immortal Crane with a stick!
The Daoist boy became furious, "What the hell are you doing, you damn rabbit?"
Qin Shou looked up at the Daoist boy, innocently asking, "Didn’t you see the pot next to me... It’s time, this big bird is so plump and even delivered itself to my doorstep, what do you think I want to do?"
Frightened, the Immortal Crane flapped its wings to fly away, but the Daoist boy held it down and scolded, "Rabbit, do you have any idea who I am?"
Qin Shou rolled his eyes and said, "I don’t care who you are. I haven’t eaten you, why are you squawking?"
"This is my Immortal Crane!" the Daoist boy said angrily.
Qin Shou stroked his chin and said, "Yours?"
The Daoist boy nodded.
The next moment, a flash of gold flew over!
The Daoist boy caught it and saw that it was indeed a copper coin!
"What’s this supposed to mean?" the Daoist boy asked.
Then he heard that damn rabbit say, "I am someone who values rules and manners. Since it’s yours, but I want to eat it, let’s just say I’ll buy it."
"You want to buy my Immortal Crane with a copper coin?" The Daoist boy couldn’t help but laugh, having never seen anything so ridiculous in his life!
Qin Shou was taken aback and said, "Not enough?"
The Daoist boy said, "Of course it’s not enough!"
"If one copper coin won’t do, then how many do you want?" Qin Shou asked.
"How... many... copper coins?" The Daoist boy heard this, rolled his eyes, and after a speechless silence said, "It’s not a question of how many! This is an Immortal Crane, not a wild chicken! Besides, even a wild chicken is worth more than that!"
"What did you say? I didn’t call this a wild chicken. If you think it’s too little, then name your price. How many copper coins are you willing to sell it for?" Qin Shou shouted.
The Daoist boy: "..."
While Qin Shou was haggling with the Daoist boy, over on the other side, Ao Sui saw his chance, quietly turned around, then slipped away in a puff of smoke.
Monkey Cangsang said, "Rabbit, the little Dragon King has run off."
Qin Shou glanced at Ao Sui’s retreating figure, which was now just a disappearing light, and said nonchalantly, "Let him run, there’s always time to visit their place. I believe they’ll be more than hospitable."
Everyone else was speechless... Hospitable? If it weren’t for your Daynight Wandering God Token, they’d flatten you at the slightest provocation!
Seeing Ao Sui had fled, Ao Ying waved his hand and led the Sea Clan army back into the depths of the ocean.
Although Ao Ying hadn’t had much contact with this rabbit, he was well aware that Ao Sui was a little tyrant who constantly caused mischief, turning the Sea Clan upside down. If this rabbit could handle the little tyrant as easily as if he were a grandson, it was better for Ao Ying to steer clear.
Qin Shou didn’t mind them and looked up at the Daoist boy, "Name your price! I’m loaded!"
The Daoist boy squinted his eyes and finally shook his head, deciding not to haggle with this rabbit any longer. Instead, he turned to the Stone Monkey and said, "Monkey, if you want to learn the invincible magic, jump aboard. I will take you to meet my master!"
The Stone Monkey nodded, then leapt up five meters in the air!
The Immortal Crane turned around to catch the Stone Monkey and was about to take flight!
Just then, the Immortal Crane stumbled again, but luckily the Daoist boy and the Stone Monkey were seated securely, avoiding any embarrassment.
The Daoist boy became enraged, "Rabbit, did you poke my Immortal Crane again? Do you really think I have no temper?"
Looking down, the Daoist boy immediately froze...
He saw the stick discarded on the ground, not held by anyone!
The Rabbit was nowhere to be seen!
Puzzled, the Daoist boy wondered where the rabbit could be. If it wasn’t the rabbit poking the Immortal Crane, who was it?
"Screech!"
At that moment, the Immortal Crane let out an angry cry and began to shake violently.
Hearing this, the Daoist boy seemed to understand something. Looking beneath the Immortal Crane, he saw a rabbit clinging to its claws, trying to climb up!
Seeing this, the Daoist boy was instantly furious, "What the hell are you doing, rabbit?"
The rabbit bared its teeth and said, "I’ve taken a liking to this Immortal Crane and I have to buy it no matter what! You think you can run? No way! I’ve already paid you, and now you’re trying to back out? Don’t you have any sense of a contract?"
Upon hearing this, the Daoist boy really felt like slapping the rabbit to death. That single copper coin counted as money to a cultivator?
The Daoist boy snorted coldly and said, "Rabbit, stop causing trouble! Leave at once, or I won’t be polite anymore!"
But the rabbit, cocking its head and looking at him, said righteously, "You take the money but don’t deliver the goods, and you won’t let me take it myself? I really should meet your master and let him judge for himself!"
"See my master? With just you? Go away!" The Daoist boy waved his hand, sending a strong gust of wind at the rabbit, attempting to blow the rabbit away.
But when the gust hit the rabbit, the rabbit was unharmed!
Even worse, the wind caused the rabbit to sway, which made the Immortal Crane also become unstable in flight and start to wobble...
The Daoist boy hurriedly grabbed onto the Immortal Crane and instructed the Stone Monkey, "Hold on tight, I’m going to get rid of that rabbit!"
While speaking, the Daoist boy flicked his finger, and a ball of fire flew towards the rabbit.
The fireball wasn’t big, but its temperature was extremely high; one could feel the wave of heat from a distance!
The Daoist boy sneered, "Little rabbit, it’s not too late to let go now! Otherwise, once my divine fire falls, you’ll immediately turn to ash! This fire is forged from taiyang essence fire I collected, and its power is immense! Defend yourself immediately, don’t make a mistake... a mistake... Rabbit, spit it out!"
Before the Daoist boy could finish shouting, he saw that at the moment the divine fire fell, the rabbit suddenly opened its mouth wide and bit at the divine fire!
Then, before the Daoist boy could finish his act, he saw his fire getting swallowed. The expected image of the rabbit being burnt to ashes from inside out didn’t happen. Instead, the rabbit spat out some saliva, smacked its lips, and said with disdain, "This little flame isn’t even as fierce as Fire Chicken’s. Little Daoist boy, do you have anything else?"
The Daoist boy was dumbfounded...
Afterward, the Daoist boy became frantic and yelled, "Damn rabbit, spit out my essence fire right now! Otherwise, don’t blame me for not being polite! My fire!"
However, the rabbit completely ignored him and instead took out a rope, starting to tie up the Immortal Crane’s legs.
"Rabbit, what are you doing?!" Although the Daoist boy had no idea what the rabbit was up to, even a fool knew the rabbit wasn’t suddenly having a change of heart to do good deeds.
Qin Shou gave him a smack on the back of his head and said, "Holding on is too tiring, it’s too crowded up there. I, the Rabbit, will make a nest and have a good sleep."
Upon hearing this, the Daoist boy nearly went mad. Make a nest?
Have a sleep?
Damn, you’re a stowaway and you complain about hanging on being uncomfortable?
And you want to make a nest?
The Daoist boy was furious. With a whoosh, he jumped off the Immortal Crane, stepped on an auspicious cloud, and descended, pulling out a Green Light Sword and pointing at the rabbit, yelling, "Rabbit, this is all your fault! Stop it immediately!"
Only to see the rabbit turn its head, open its mouth, and crunch!
"Crunch munch..." The rabbit looked at the stump of a sword in front of it, chewing on the pieces in its mouth with distaste and said, "You’re really a penny pincher, these trinkets taste terrible. Got any better magic treasures?"
The Daoist boy was so angry he was about to lose his mind. What rules, what sword techniques, what magic?
At that moment, the Daoist boy had forgotten them all. He swung the broken sword at the rabbit like crazy, but it was no use; the rabbit was fat and strong, tough-skinned and thick-fleshed, and it didn’t react no matter how he hit it.
Just as the Daoist boy was striking fiercely, the rabbit suddenly leaped onto the Immortal Crane’s back, then threw out a rope and tightened it around the Immortal Crane’s neck, shouting, "Such a great spot, and since you’re not sitting, I, the Rabbit, will take it! Go, run!"
With a prompt from Qin Shou, the Immortal Crane let out a protesting cry, trying to stop and wait for the Daoist boy.
But then Qin Shou opened his mouth and spat out a fireball, saying, "If you fly too slowly, I, the Rabbit, will roast you right now!"
Seeing this, the Immortal Crane got scared and desperately started to fly faster!
At the same time, Qin Shou activated the High Speed magic, which surprisingly sped up the Immortal Crane!
In no time, the Immortal Crane, like a black and white lightning bolt, dashed across the sky!
The Daoist boy behind saw this and screamed frantically, desperately using his magic trying to catch up, but to his dismay, he found he could not keep up!
The faster he went, the faster the Immortal Crane flew; when he slowed down, so did the Immortal Crane. It seemed the rabbit was intentionally maintaining a safe distance from him.
"Rabbit, stop! Return the Immortal Crane to me!" shouted the Daoist boy as he waved the broken sword, with tears in his voice.
But the rabbit just waved a paw and said, "Give it to you? Sure, just catch up to me!"
"Rabbit, I’m going all out with you! Speed up!" cried the Daoist boy as he accelerated.
The Immortal Crane sped up!
Thus, a strange scene appeared in the sky; a Immortal Crane carrying a rabbit and a monkey in front was flying fast while behind them, a Daoist boy, face red with exertion, waving a broken sword and shouting... cursing... grumbling, "Damn rabbit—return my Immortal Crane... boo hoo..."
The rabbit, riding the Immortal Crane, looked back at the Stone Monkey, who bared his teeth in what passed for a smile at the rabbit.
The Stone Monkey was also feeling conflicted. He now understood just how shameless this damn rabbit was... He really didn’t want to interact with the rabbit, lest they disagree and the rabbit started calling him ’son’ and asking him to call him ’dad’ or something...
But the Stone Monkey also knew if it weren’t for the rabbit, he might have been killed by the little Dragon King of the South Sea already; he couldn’t forget this life-saving grace.
The two of them tangled up, the Stone Monkey was also conflicted about his relationship with the rabbit.
Qin Shou just smiled and didn’t say anything. He looked back at the little Daoist boy crying miserably, shook his head and said, "Poor kid. I don’t have the heart to bully him anymore."
After that, Qin Shou patted the Immortal Crane’s head, and the Immortal Crane started to slow down. The Daoist boy quickly caught up, then looked at the smiling rabbit in front of him with tearful eyes and said sorrowfully, "Rabbit..."
Qin Shou said, "Alright, alright, here’s a tissue, wipe your runny nose. I’ll give you the Immortal Crane back, okay? Look at how little backbone you have!"
After speaking, Qin Shou handed over a tissue.
The Daoist boy took it, wiped his nose, and after finishing, he noticed something was off. Why were the monkey and rabbit laughing at him? Was there something that funny?
The Daoist boy asked, "What’s wrong?"
Qin Shou shook his head and said, "Nothing, I’ll give you back the Immortal Crane. I’m going down to make a nest!"
