Quick Transmigration: Irresistible Beauty
Chapter 344 - 344: Blackened Junior Sister (49)

These little creatures were living their lives in peace and comfort in the old site of the Exalted Sea Sect with little to no disturbance. With curiosity, Lan Jin came over to interact with a little bird and its feather friends.

"It always looks very beautiful every time I come here," Shu Ye remarked before turning to face Yue Ran. "Do you not think so?"

Shu Ye crossed his arms and took his time admiring the breathtaking scenery, especially after the young woman in the red dress stepped into the land of the ruins. Regardless of how beautiful everything around them was, they had become a foil under her beauty.

Having said that, Shu Ye heard that the young woman did not possess a character and temperament like this in the past. His subordinates had investigated her background and gave evidence that Yue Ran used to be soft and introverted, with low cultivation and the worst aptitude, and was found to have an excessively poor reputation in the Sky Breeze Sect.

It was a very pitiful background, but the person who had appeared in front of him was the complete opposite of the results of the findings in his eyes.

Shu Ye: Woman, you have successfully caught my attention.

The smile on Shu Ye's face became more intense, and his eyes darkened slightly. A woman veiled with a mystery always draws people in, making them want to explore more despite the risks and dangers that they may face along the way.

Yue Ran took a deep breath of the cool, fresh air, feeling the comfort of spiritual power filling her limbs and bones, and tilted her head to look at Hai Bing Tu. It was then Yue Ran noticed that the closed eyes of Hai Bing Tu were tight pressed together, and tears were streaming down her cheeks.

"Hai Bing Tu, are you okay?" asked Yue Ran in a slightly concerned tone of voice.

Yue Ran: Of course, she is not, but it is still polite to ask nonetheless.

"I am sorry, my Lord…" Hai Bing Tu responded. "I… I am fine."

Hai Bing Tu's voice was trembling, and the endless tears that flowed out of her tightly shut eyes could not be wiped away no matter how hard she tried. Her delicate little face was almost rubbed red because of her repeated actions.

Yue Ran was also aware that Hai Bing Tu must be in a complicated mood, so she just took a candied hawthorn and stuffed it into the hand of Hai Bing Tu to cheer her up. Yue Ran then silently patted Hai Bing Tu's head to comfort her.

"My Lord... I am sorry, I am really all right. It seems that the above-ground section of the place has almost been wholly destroyed. I wonder if there is anything that is still preserved well and kept in good condition underground."

The expressions of both Yue Ran and Shu Ye changed when they heard the word "underground." The countenance of the former only changed slightly, but the latter turned excited.

Hai Bing Tu led the two people to search the flooring of the dusty ruins until they came to the ground of the main hall, which had long been covered with decades of mud and dust. There were many patterns engraved on it. Surprisingly, even after a hundred years of aridity and precipitation, the patterns engraved, the spiritual inscriptions, still looked delicate and complex.

"I have used my spiritual power to check the original passages, and they are all blocked," Hai Bing Tu said. "If we were to forcibly dig the ground, the entire underground would most likely collapse. It is fortunate that this spiritual inscription is still intact and not fully destroyed yet."

"Um, no offense, but in the past hundred years, countless top masters from the imperial city, the leaders and elites of different sects, and even rogue cultivators and martial masters must have come here to search the place like us," Shu Ye said. "This spiritual inscription may have already been cracked by them long ago, right? There is no way that they would have left something of great significance like this alone."

Facing Shu Ye's question, Hai Bing Tu suddenly smiled brightly and said, "There is no need to worry about something like this. No one would be able to crack this spiritual inscription if they were not a member of the Exalted Sea Sect."

The rabbit demon beast took off her shoes and socks and set them aside against a pretty much intact wall of the ruins. The sunlight splattered on her silky, thin coat, and the wind blew up her dress as Hai Bing Tu walked barefoot into the heart of the large spiritual inscription.

Yue Ran consciously took two steps back and moved to stand beside Shu Ye, both of them curious about what Hai Bing Tu intended to do.

After her preparations were complete, Hai Bing Tu bowed slightly to the two of them, as if she were a performer on stage bowing politely to the audience (in this case, Shu Ye and Yue Ran). Hai Bing Tu then turned around, stretched out her arms, bent her body, and in the blink of an eye, she began to dance to the sounds of birds and insects in the forest.

Every time Hai Bing Tu jumped up and down in harmony with the rhythm of nature, synchronizing herself to the natural forces of the world, the ground would light up a little, like little fireflies flickering to life in the night. The spiritual power of heaven and earth flowed to the ground along with her dance, producing numerous crisp collision sounds resembling the pleasant noise of clinking glasses.

Faint blue fluorescence flared up with the contact, and it grew more and more intense with its increasing number as Hai Bing Tu continued to dance. The rabbit demon beast appeared to be one with the birds, the beasts, the insects, and the...
