Beware, reading this novel WILL give you an Insulin overdose due to how sweet it is. I heavily recommend this for those that are into classical music/have a background in instruments, and for those that are looking for for some peak and cutest romance you've ever seen. Read at minimum 20 chapters please.
Story revolves around the world of Music, specifically classical music. MC and FML are a Piano and Cello duet partner, 'composing' (plagiarizing) classical music such as 'Mariage d'Amour' and 'Salut d'Amour'. I can't explain much more about the earlier chapters since I'm afraid it could ruin your experience. I'll just say, that they both share an uncanny resemblance to the Violinist and Pianist duet 'Kaori Miyazono' and 'Kousei Arima' from Your Lie in April.
The characters here, be it the our MC Duet, and the side characters each have their own consistent profile/personality that you can pick up on if you are attentive, making them very easy to connect to and understand. The comedy is also on point, especially the banters from MC and his friend. Also the MC here is a truly good person, as for the FML is a complex and cute characters that I won't divulge much as mentioned before.
The moments when they two play together as a duet is absolutely magnificent, I suggest playing the piece they were playing during this sequence for the best immersion. The dynamics of these two are very unique and refreshing, this s*it got me smiling and giggling like a little boy during the read.
Reading the music sequences here gave me the same chills such as Throne of Magical Arcana, truly a great fic. Only thing holding it back is the inconsistent pronouns usage, and some mistranslations. Aside from that, perfect in my humble opinion
It's honestly not too bad from what I've read. Taking 1.5 stars off because the translation can be wonky at times and idk what to expect from this since there's very few chapters. Overall not bad, FL and ml both seem like good people, looking forward to their success!
