Bai Jin wore a distressed expression as he said, "Master, you should not have assigned me the task of dealing with such offensive matters in the first place. I feel Xuandu would’ve been a suitable choice."

Taishang replied with a smile, "There is danger if Xuandu goes."

I~ Bai Jin’s breath caught, and he thought resentfully, ’So it seems I’m not the favored one?’ He looked up and spoke wordlessly, "Master, I’m in danger too! I felt like I almost couldn’t make it back."

"Ha ha~ rest assured! They are willing to take action for you, but they might not be willing to do the same for Xuandu."

With a casual wave of his hand, Taishang set a Taiji Diagram spinning in the middle of the grand hall. Suddenly, the Taiji Diagram shrank and entered Bai Jin’s body, its dense Tao patterns wrapping around him and warping the surrounding space.

After a brief moment, the distorted space returned to normal, the Tao patterns vanished, and Bai Jin kneeled on the cushion, bowing respectfully as he said excitedly, "Disciple thanks Master."

Taishang spoke kindly, "This is what you deserve. Bai Jin, since you were young, you have listened to my teachings on the way of Taiji. Today, I bestow upon you the seed of the Taiji Dao, and I hope you can step onto the path of Taiji soon."

Bai Jin replied loudly and excitedly, "Yes, your disciple will definitely work hard."

"As for the Reincarnation and Creation skills within you, you don’t need to pay too much attention to them. They are difficult to begin with and their power is not great; the way of Taiji is what fits you best."

Bai Jin nodded repeatedly in agreement and said, "What Master says is true, I will keep it in my heart."

Taishang nodded in satisfaction and said, "Very good! I hope that you can step into the Quasi-Saint Path soon. Go on then, return and diligently cultivate."

Bai Jin stood up, bowed respectfully, and said, "Yes, your disciple takes his leave."

Bai Jin walked out of the Eight Sceneries Palace, stood on the peak of Shouyang Mountain, and touched his chin, lost in thought. He had visited Ping Xin, Nuwa, and Taishang. What if he didn’t visit Master Yuan Shi? Would Master Yuan Shi be angry? He probably would! Master often said that Master Yuan Shi is somewhat petty.

After hesitating for a moment, Bai Jin soared into the sky and headed toward Kunlun Mountain.

The majestic Kunlun stretched for a million miles, its main peak piercing the clouds, shrouded in mist, a mortal world’s sanctum.

With a clear chirp that echoed through Yun Xiao, a divine Bai He weaved through the clouds, flying toward the main peak of Kunlun Mountain, then landed and with a flash turned into Bai Jin.

A comely little Taoist approached, smiling and saying, "Senior brother, the old master has ordered me to wait for you for some time now."

Bai Jin laughed heartily, "Being in Kunlun Mountain feels just like returning home, there’s no need for such a reception."

With a flick of his wrist, a handful of Merit Coins flew out and landed in front of Bai He, who said generously, "Take them and have fun!"

Bai He Child exclaimed joyfully, "Thank you, senior brother."

Bai Jin walked into Biyou Palace and knelt on a cushion inside the grand hall, bowing respectfully and saying, "Disciple Bai Jin, greeting Master!"

Sitting in the main seat, Master Yuan Shi nodded slightly and said, "Rise."

"Thank you, Master." Bai Jin stood up and sat properly on the cushion, adopting a formal and serious posture, without any frivolity.

Primordial Venerable said with a beaming smile, "It’s been a while since you last visited."

Bai Jin honestly said, "Now that most of the disciples from our Jie Sect have graduated and are making their own way in the Primordial World, as the leader of the Outer Disciples, I have even more responsibilities. There are always some Outer Disciples who do not listen well, and the Law Enforcement Team is also exceptionally busy."

Primordial Venerable looked toward the Eastern direction, his brows furrowed slightly, deep in thought and silent.

Bai Jin, puzzled, ventured, "Master, is there some matter that is not appropriate?"

The Primordial Venerable extended a hand, and in an instant, time and space shifted, bringing the two of them above the Eastern Sea Jie Sect’s location, but the Jie Sect they saw now was completely different from what was usually seen.

Bai Jin now observed that everything within the Jie Sect appeared hazy and illusory. Overhead, massive clouds gathered, their tops as blue as Qingyun and as lustrous as jade, their bottoms variegated like rainbows, with fine threads of green smoke continuously drifting out from the sea of clouds.

The Primordial Venerable fell silent in deep thought, while Bai Jin stood by honestly.

After a moment, the Primordial Venerable spoke solemnly, "The very thing I feared most has still happened."

Confused, Bai Jin looked at the auspicious cloud, his heart filled with doubt. The colors of blue above and rainbow below signified good fortune, so what could be wrong with that?!

In the blink of an eye, time and space shifted again, and the two returned to the interior of Yuxu Palace.

Bai Jin was still seated on the meditation cushion, everything before seeming like an illusion. Still, Bai Jin knew it had all been real and asked somewhat apprehensively, "I pray Master would enlighten me, what is amiss with our Jie Sect now?"

The Primordial Venerable said leisurely, "You need not know. This affair is not something you can intervene in."

"Yes!" Bai Jin honestly replied.

The Primordial Venerable pointed a finger towards Bai Jin, and a Tao Seed of the Tao of Force entered his body. It was about the force of individuals, of Heaven and Earth, and of the vast Primordial World—those who follow the tide prevail, those who resist will perish.

Bai Jin immediately prostrated thankfully and said, "Many thanks to Master!"

The Primordial Venerable nodded and said with heartfelt emphasis, "Bai Jin, you have been listening to my teachings from a young age, and you have a natural talent for the Tao of Force, having delved deeply into it. The force you used to suppress the Western Sect just now was indeed borrowed from the might of Nuwa and Taishang, achieving your own invincible force.

With your current cultivation, a little bit of comprehension will allow you to fully step onto the Tao of Force and enter into the Quasi-Saint Realm."

"That is indeed how I feel, Master."

The Primordial Venerable nodded, pleased, "As for the Reincarnation Dao, the Creation Dao, and the Taiji Dao, there’s no need to concern yourself further; they don’t resonate with your essence. Quietly ponder the Tao of Force, and strive to step onto the path as soon as possible — this is the proper way."

"I shall make every effort, Master!"

"Go," said the Primordial Venerable.

Bai Jin bowed respectfully, rose, and left. He halted just before the door, turned around with a smile, and asked, "Master, where are all my senior and junior brothers? I haven’t seen them in a long time and I quite miss them."

"They have all gone out, each selecting a Cave Heaven Blessed Land to establish their doctrines."

"Doesn’t that mean you’re the only one left on Kunlun Mountain, Master?"

The Primordial Venerable nodded.

Feeling sympathetic, Bai Jin thought to himself, Second Master is truly the most pitiable; after the children have grown up and gone out to make their mark, only Second Master is left behind, the lone elderly person. He immediately promised, "Do not worry, Second Master, I will surely come to visit you often."

The Primordial Venerable laughed heartily and said, "Good!"

"Farewell, Master!" With a smile and a wave, Bai Jin turned and left Yuxu Palace, his figure soaring into the sky.

The smile vanished from the face of the Primordial Venerable as he murmured to himself, "Tongtian, without the Supreme Treasure to suppress the destiny, Jie Sect’s Destiny has been eroded by the destinies of tens of thousands of disciples. What should you do now? And where in the world is the Chaos Bell?"

Bai Jin made his way back to the Jie Sect, barely having returned before his Master summoned him.

Within Biyou Palace, Bai Jin sat cross-legged below, while Tongtian was seated in the place of honor, the two facing each other.

Tongtian spoke with a mystical air, "The Reincarnation Dao, the Creation Dao, the Yin Yang Dao, the Tao of Force, they truly favor you! As your Master, I almost thought you were their disciple."

Bai Jin immediately rose and trotted over to sit on the steps, chuckling, "Master, actually, it’s out of respect for you that Master and Second Master show such favor towards me. Without you, I would be but a minor bird."
