Pokemon: Reborn Rich Alternate Earth -
Chapter 610: Second Uncle
The final winner of the cat-and-dog war turned out to be… the Bird Club.
That’s right—while the cats and dogs were busy tearing each other apart, the birds swooped in to claim victory. At the climax of the battle, Arcanine had Persian pinned to the ground, ready to deliver the final blow—
—when suddenly, dozens of winged predators descended from the sky.
Pidgeot, Fearow, Swellow, Noctowl, Skarmory…
The birds launched a surprise attack, and the exhausted cats and dogs stood no chance.
At Imperial University, aside from student-run clubs, there were also many Pokémon-led factions.
Among them, the Cat and Dog Clubs were the most famous, followed by the Bird Club. There were also others, like the Ghost Club, the Serpent Club, and the Fire Club.
"Arf arf arf!"
Arcanine: "Those damn featherbrains! How shameless can they get?!"
On the way back, Arcanine’s fur was a complete mess, with patches even plucked bald—courtesy of the "shameless birds" it kept cursing.
And its face bore several claw marks, Persian’s handiwork.
"Even birds play dirty now?"
As Arcanine’s trainer, Julian expressed strong condemnation for the Bird Club’s disgraceful ambush. Look how mad his poor dog was!
Arcanine turned to Lucario: "Vice President, if you had joined us, we wouldn’t have lost!"
Lucario stayed silent, pretending not to hear.
But Arcanine clearly wasn’t letting it go and continued: "Next time, let’s fight together! I’ll pin down that Persian, and when those sneaky birds show up, you knock ‘em out of the sky!"
"Vice President, I’m telling you—"
THWACK!
Lucario’s fist met Arcanine’s face.
Lucario: "Enough. I’ve tolerated this long enough."

Vice Dean’s Office.
After the Cat-Dog war ended, Julian didn’t head back. Instead, he went straight to the Vice Dean’s office.
"Uncle, you became Vice Dean and didn’t even tell me?!"
Julian stared at his uncle, whose fierce appearance made him look like a villain at first glance.
“You brat! Your uncle becomes Vice Dean of your academy and you didn’t even know? What, did you expect me to pay you a visit?”
Daniel looked speechlessly at his nephew. He’d already been vice dean for a while now. So, he had been wondering why his nephew hadn’t visited him since returning to campus.
Turns out this kid had no idea.
Beside Daniel stood Persian, glaring suspiciously at Arcanine by Julian’s side.
Persian thought that Arcanine had come for a rematch—and even brought its trainer for backup. But then that trainer turned out to be… his own shit-shoveling officer's (trainer’s) nephew?
Which meant he was also its "shit-shoveling officer" by extension.
'And if Arcanine is his Pokémon…'
Persian’s eyes gleamed.
'…Then that mutt is technically my servant.'
“I just… wasn’t paying attention,” Julian said, scratching his head in embarrassment.
His second uncle, Daniel Turner, was currently ranked 28th on the Elite Leaderboard—a Pseudo-Champion-level Water-type specialist.
Here’s a quick intro to Julian’s maternal family, the Turner Family:
- His grandfather, Harold Turner: One of the top four Pokémon Breeders in Drakoria.
- His grandmother, Margaret Turner: Hailing from the prestigious Kingston family.
Together, they had three sons and one daughter.
> Eldest Uncle, Logan Turner: A peak Dragon-type Elite Trainer, currently the Chairman of the Hartford Province Trainers Association.
His daughter, Thea (Julian’s cousin), was also a rising star, along with a younger son.
> Second Uncle, Daniel Turner: Water-type pseudo-Champion, now Vice Dean of Imperial University’s Trainer Academy.
> Third Uncle, Miles Turner: Senior-level Breeder, Chairman of the Hartford Province Breeders Association.
> And, the fourth child was a daughter—Julian’s mother, Tina Walker nee Turner.
As the only daughter and the youngest child, Tina had been the jewel of the Turner family since birth.
Unlike the Walker family, which had only a few people, the Turner family was a massive clan with five to six hundred members.
So Tina was, without question, the little princess of the Turner family.
Jake being able to marry Tina was no easy matter.

"You haven’t visited your grandparents in two years. What a little ingrate," Daniel grumbled, glaring at Julian.
Julian gave an awkward smile.
Ever since becoming a professional trainer, he truly hadn’t had the chance to visit his maternal family. At most, he kept in touch over the phone.
After all, a professional trainer was either off exploring secret realms or training Pokémon. When he did have some time off, he preferred staying home to rest.
Just this year, he’d spent half of it trapped in a secret realm. That alone should tell you just how little free time professional trainers actually had.
That’s why most professional trainers rarely spent time with family, especially someone like Julian, who was still young and in his career’s growth phase.
“With all the achievements you’ve racked up, you ought to visit your grandparents soon. Let the two elders brag a little—and maybe give a few pointers to your cousins while you’re at it.”
Julian might not have the Turner surname, but the Turner blood still ran through him. With all he had accomplished, the Turner family was naturally proud.
At the very least, if the Turner family ever went into decline, Julian would definitely support them however he could.
“Yeah, I was already planning to visit Grandpa and Grandma soon,” Julian nodded.
But Daniel just gave him a “like hell you were” kind of look. If he hadn’t brought it up, this ungrateful brat probably wouldn’t have remembered his mother’s side of the family at all.
“Anyway, Uncle, I gotta say—your Persian is really well-trained.”
Julian quickly changed the topic, shifting his gaze to Persian. The feline's sharp eyes and well-groomed fur (though currently a bit ruffled from the fight) were signs of excellent care.
"Still not as good as your Arcanine, though," Daniel remarked.
Though not a breeder himself, Daniel had picked up plenty from his father—a Top-tier Pokémon breeder. So, he knew what he was talking about.
Julian’s Arcanine was hands down the finest one he'd had ever seen. If it was ever used for breeding, the demand for its offspring would be sky-high.
“Per!”
Persian: "Excuse me, servant? Did you just say I’m inferior to this mutt?"
Persian flicked its tail indignantly and turned its head away, refusing Daniel’s attempts to pet it.
Meanwhile, Arcanine grinned, its canine face suddenly lighting up with an idea. It trotted over to Persian.
Arcanine: "Hey. Wanna team up and take down those featherbrained sky-rats next time?"
Persian: "You? Work with me? Don’t make me laugh."
The sheer arrogance in Persian’s gaze made it clear—it wouldn’t even consider collaborating with a "lowly dog."
Arcanine: "Grrr… I really wanna bite this jerk’s face off."
“Anyway, since you’re here, help your uncle out with something,” Daniel said abruptly.
Julian’s face immediately fell. “Uncle… can’t you ask someone else?”
He hadn’t had enough time to laze around yet. Not to mention, he hadn’t even reached ‘King’ rank in the current season of Pokémon Glory! If his uncle dragged him into some mission, his gaming schedule would be ruined.
"No excuses. You’re the best fit for this. Your cousins aren’t strong enough yet," Daniel said sternly.
The Turner family had a few promising younger members, but none were reliable enough for this task. Sending an older elite would be overkill—but since Julian had walked right into his office…
Perfect timing!
