•••••••••••••••••
The slumbering dragon had felt the tremors, tasted the raw power that could only belong to a legendary, shine on the world above the dark waters.
For one moment, the last of the fallen kings had thought that perhaps, the Dark God had risen again, to bring about that annihilation that he had promised upon the world.
Then he felt it.
A whisper.
A dying wish.
One that wasn't muttered out of ambition, but out of hope.
Out of…
Out of a wish for salvation.
A name.
An… Sah…. Lohn…
And the King felt it.
The person who had summoned it was the same person who had faced him the previous time and learned his true name. However, the blight hadn't summoned him out of ambition, but for something opposite.
Salvation.
And the King rose.
After all, he was a Dragonite.
And Dragonite was helpful, aiding sailors lost in the sea, helping the shipwrecked to return to their loved ones.
The fallen king rose from the dark waters, as he witnessed the falling meteors… draconic energy, he realized- the abomination was channeling reshaped, draconian energy to suit its sinister purposes.
That, would not do.
King Dragonite let out a roar, giving a sideward glance at the drenched human-ling who had summoned him, now lying on the deck, surrounded by his friends.
And the King's judgment began.
Not a single person or pokémon, friend or foe alike, uttered a single noise.
All of them were gawking at the Dragonite- if that was a Dragonite, let out an earth-shattering roar, before sending a single Hyper Beam into the atmosphere, the sheer power and size of which managed to shatter a majority of the falling draconic bombs with a single strike.
Confident that the humans and pokémon on the ship would be able to deal with the rest, the fallen king turned to stare at the abomination, one who wielded the unfathomable power of a Legendary, and yet, his actions were that of the lowest scum imaginable.
With another howl, the king sent hurling a burst of pure power—a dragon pulse that was yards wide, towards Mewtwo, who shockingly enough, had to hold his hands forward to stop the powerful attack from reaching towards him, as he began to use his true power.
However, Dragonite was far from done.
He released a quick hyper beam, one just as powerful as the previous one, in quick succession with the overpowered dragon pulse.
Mewtwo might have been able to somehow hold back the dragon pulse, but when the hyper beam slammed into the condensed draconic energy, nothing on earth, legendary or not, was able to contain the explosion that happened, as a shockwave powerful enough to tear SS. Anne into pieces came lashing out of it in all directions.
Team Rockets had, expectedly, departed from the destroyed ship as quickly as possible.
With the advent of this… creature of antiquity, neither the Executives nor the Grunts could have an idea about what would possibly happen.
Mewtwo's lackadaisical behavior towards them certainly didn't help matters.
In a matter of mere minutes, the entire crew of Rockets had somehow scrambled their way out of SS. Anne, returning to whatever submarines were still present and functional- the Executives teleporting away now that the psychic shields held in place by Mewtwo were no more.
The absence of the psychic barrier was immediately felt by the trainers on the ship, was teams of Alakazam appeared out of nowhere, ready to continue their task of teleportation deployment, as they were ordered to do.
While Harrison and the psi pokémon on the ship had transferred quite a several people already, it was time for the Wailord teams to be set loose.
Five Wailord appeared on the water, as the remaining people began to slowly scramble onto them, hoping against hope that the mythical creature would somehow end that omnipotent pokémon, which had been, a moment ago, ready to end their lives with a single strike.
Steven, Harrison, Cynthia and Lorelei were helping the crowds get over to the Wailord group that floated on the waters, ready to deport with the people-trainers and sailors alike.
Glacia had suffered from some injuries but none that wouldn't heal in a day or two.

Austin opened his eyes slowly, staring at Pidgeot zooming on top of his head in the air with Pikachu holding his Pokeball holster belt.
Pikachu shot a few thunderbolts helping Garchomp take care of the remaining Draco meteor attacks that were falling towards them.
"I have Pidgeot with me. I trust her with my life."
He thought he heard a screech from his favorite avian after that comment.
Thank God, Fearow couldn't read his mind.
Austin looked towards the other end of the night sky, where the King Dragonite was giving Mewtwo a really hard time, the psychic having to use his powers to defend and attack against someone of the King's stature and power, like any other normal pokémon.
'Welcome to earth, asshole.'
Austin could have sworn he had a feeling of amusement flit through his mind.
Only if the entire thing had ended with the feeling.
After withstanding all that it had, SS. Anne, while a magnificent specimen, was, after all, a machine.
And like every machine, it too, had its limits before it broke down to pieces.
The next shockwave that lashed against its machinery after Mewtwo and the Dragonite clashed- a shadow ball against a dragon pulse to be exact was too much for it to hold on, any longer.
SS. Anne gave up.
The ground beneath his legs suddenly gave up with an indiscriminate creak, as Austin felt himself fall, down towards the broken piece of machinery.
There was no water, no raging fires or anything—just broken pieces of metal and equipment.
One that would tear him apart.
Austin hit his back against the sharp side of the broken deck, rendering him almost unconscious as he fell towards the metal pit.
Before losing consciousness, Austin saw Pikachu and Pidgeot rushing toward him as Pikachu launched himself with a quick attack but it was not enough as one of the Pokeballs opened up revealing a critically injured and poisoned Raticate who used Pikachu's body as a launching pad to launch herself at her trainer.
She couldn't care less about her safety, about her life, she only wanted to save the one person who gave her a chance to become something.
In the viridian forest, she saw many trainers that ignored her for the fact that she was just a rattata, yet he gave her a chance.
She battled with opponents stronger than her ..... she had a place to belong.... she had a family.
And if she could repay the human who gave her all of them with her life then she would gladly do it.
Before Austin fully lost consciousness, he saw Raticate smile at him as darkness engulfed his mind.
"Be afraid!" King Dragonite proclaimed, his voice echoing across the ocean.
Mewtwo snorted and responded, "Of what? You?"
"Of death," the king replied gravely.
"Do you have the power to kill a god?" Mewtwo challenged, his psychic aura flickering.
"What a puny god," Dragonite scoffed, opening his massive jaws wide.
Dark type energy began to coalesce into a growing sphere of menacing power.
Mewtwo's eyes narrowed as he realized the nature of the attack.
The King had used Metronome to give himself that dark type move.
A moment later, Dragonite unleashed the attack, a powerful Dark Pulse that manifested as waves of purple energy rings spewing from his mouth.
Mewtwo swiftly took to the air, dodging with expert agility as the waves of energy sought him. He twisted and turned in the air, the energy waves slicing through the space he had occupied just moments before. Dragonite jerked his head to follow Mewtwo's flight path, trying to predict his maneuvers.
Suddenly, Mewtwo teleported, reappearing instantly above Dragonite's massive head. An Aura Sphere, glowing with intense psychic energy, formed rapidly in his hand. He thrust it downward with all his might, aiming directly at Dragonite.
To Mewtwo’s surprise, his body and attack phased right through the giant Pokémon.
Double team?!
Mewtwo realized, his confusion turning into alertness as movement stirred from the waters below.
A giant shadow then loomed over Mewtwo as Dragonite used his momentum to twist around, revealing his tail, now covered in a greenish draconic energy.
With a swift, powerful motion, Dragonite struck with his Dragon Tail, sending Mewtwo hurtling toward the water.
The impact with the water was tremendous. Mewtwo hit the surface with such force that it caused a giant explosion of water, shooting up into the air like a geyser.
As King Dragonite honed his senses, trying to anticipate Mewtwo's next move, the ocean water around him began to boil and steam.
The King took flight, his massive body twisting in the air, creating a powerful twister that churned the ocean beneath him into a swirling vortex.
Suddenly, the psychic aura exploded like a balloon popping, sending shockwaves through the twister and dispersing the ocean water into the air, halting the cyclone abruptly.
The king Dragonite watched as droplets of ocean water hung suspended in midair, frozen by psychic energy.
His gaze then shifted downward just in time to see Mewtwo emerge from the water, brandishing a giant spoon—the classic weapon of a psychic Pokémon.
In response Dragonite charged at Mewtwo, surrounded in a light blue orb with white streaks, his form enveloped by a blue, dragon-shaped energy that coursed around his body.
Dragon Rush!
"Dragonite! You're bothering me," Mewtwo stated calmly, a slight annoyance in his voice as he snapped his fingers.
Instantly, the suspended water droplets began to pelt Dragonite as he charged, but the king was undeterred by the barrage.
"You are a fool for charging at a God," Mewtwo declared, his tone grave.
"Currently, all that salt inside that water is being forcefully poured into your body. Your outer skin is being drenched by the water as I slow down the speed of the molecules. Don't you get it?"
Mewtwo's voice was cold, calculated.
As he spoke, his spoon began to glow with an intense light, and an orb of yellow energy formed at the spoon's bowl.
Focus Blast.
Mewtwo swung his spoon like a sword, releasing a devastating shockwave directly at Dragonite.
The impact of the shockwave triggered a rapid freezing effect on Dragonite's supercooled body.
The mechanism behind this phenomenon was simple yet brutal: the rapid reduction in kinetic energy caused by Mewtwo's psychic powers slowed the water molecules on Dragonite’s skin drastically. As the temperature dropped precipitously, the moisture condensed and froze, encasing Dragonite in ice.
Even encased in ice, the King Dragonite mustered one final burst of strength.
A crimson aura flared explosively from his icy cocoon.
Outrage.
Mewtwo’s eyes widened in response, his gaze intensifying as he prepared a counterattack.
With a swift motion, Mewtwo’s eyes glowed brilliantly, releasing a ball of energy that soared into the sky.
As it ascended, the ocean below seemed to fall into darkness, the scene resembling an eclipse.
Mewtwo had summoned the power of fairy type move — Moonblast.
Above, the moon shifted to cover the sun, casting a surreal purple light.
This light coalesced into a beam of energy that shot downwards, colliding with the massive, blood-red aura of Dragonite’s Outrage.
The impact was monumental.
A massive blast illuminated the sky, clearing away the clouds and sending shockwaves rippling across the water.
The light gradually faded, revealing the aftermath—the last King, An Sah Lohn, lay motionless.
The battle was over.
Just as the King struck his final blow, Mewtwo had vanished in a blink, teleporting away at the last possible second.
Now, he reappeared unharmed, surveying the scene with a cold detachment.
"Puny God, huh?" he mocked softly, his voice echoing slightly in the silent aftermath.
Mewtwo then noticed several drones hovering above, their cameras fixed on him. With a quick, precise movement, he reached up and grabbed one, pulling it down with telekinetic force. As he crushed the device in his hand, a voice reached out to him from another drone.
"How was it?"
"I can see why humans enjoy these barbaric acts of fighting," Mewtwo responded coolly, his smirk almost visible through his tone.
"I want that corpse, Mewtwo."
Mewtwo shrugged nonchalantly, his body relaxed but his mind sharp.
"Then get your slaves to come and pick it up, Giovanni," he replied, crushing the drone in his hand.
Mewtwo's attention was caught by a grim scene as he teleported into the wreckage of the SS Anne.
Floating forward, he passed the unconscious forms of a Fearow and a Pikachu without a second glance, his focus drawn to a more harrowing sight.
Ash Ketchum lay beneath a twisted shard of the ship's structure, his body battered and broken.
Blood seeped from multiple severe wounds, painting a stark contrast against the pale of his skin.
His injuries were grave and life-threatening; a large piece of debris pinned him down, crushing his torso, and it was evident even from a distance that his neck was awkwardly angled, indicating it had been snapped.
The boy's labored breathing was the only sign he was clinging to life, but the damage was so extensive that survival seemed both unlikely and cruel.
If he lived, he would be trapped in a vegetative state—a fate possibly worse than death.
"Shame," Mewtwo muttered, his voice empty of emotion as he observed the dying boy.
"You can save him," a female voice interjected, pulling Mewtwo's gaze away from Ash.
It was Raticate, poised yet visibly burned, poisoned and injured, looking at him with desperation.
"Of course, I can. I am a God," Mewtwo replied, his tone indifferent, almost bored by the assertion of his own power.
"Please, save my human," Raticate implored, bowing deeply as if the act itself might sway the powerful psychic Pokémon.
Mewtwo offered a small, enigmatic smile. "Why should I?"
Raticate's lips quivered as she struggled to find words that could possibly convince an indifferent deity.
Finally, she whispered something, a plea so heartfelt that when it reached Mewtwo's ears, it drew from him not pity, but laughter.
