Chapter 924: Chapter 28: Endless Killing, Impossible to Finish! [2 in 1]
"God—"
The Grand Priest, upon seeing Tuntun open her eyes, immediately let out a mournful cry. His body subconsciously performed a bow and fell to his knees, but his face already betrayed a look of helplessness.
Because he knew that in the heart of the god, his status, compared with that of Chu Liang, was like comparing the light of a dung beetle to the sun—and it is well-known that dung beetles do not glow.
Indeed, Tuntun recognized the golden fried chicken leg at a glance and then saw Chu Liang, revealing a surprised and happy smile, "Eh?"
Her spiritual intelligence had grown much more than before, but her language system didn’t seem to have made much progress, presumably because no one in the Demonic Clan dared to chat with her much.
Chu Liang had long anticipated that his arrival had not been reported to Tuntun by the several Demon Kings, yet he did not bring this up with her. Instead, he simply smiled and asked, "Hungry, huh?"
"Mhm!" Tuntun nodded vigorously.
Sometime unknowingly, the golden chicken leg in Chu Liang’s hand had already been transferred to hers.
"Hehe." Chu Liang chuckled and walked toward the Divine Platform.
"Presumptuous!" The Grand Priest lifted his head and chided loudly, "The Divine Platform is not a place to be trespassed by mortal feet!"
"Tuntun, may I step on this platform?" Chu Liang turned his head and directly asked.
"Step!" Tuntun nodded again.
Chu Liang ascended the Divine Platform and took his seat directly on the throne.
The Grand Priest’s eyes were nearly popping out of his head as he shouted, "Audacious! The throne of the god, how dare you mortals desecrate!"
"Tuntun, may I sit in this chair?" Chu Liang did not even glance at him as he spoke.
"Sit!" Tuntun nodded once more.
"God..." The Grand Priest was close to tears now. Chu Liang was so arrogantly offending the majesty of the god that he wished he could immediately strike down this blasphemer on behalf of the god, yet he was powerless to do so. He could only watch helplessly as this boy took his place on the throne and took out a bunch of fried foods. All he could do was hate himself for not having guarded the Seven Kings Ridge more securely, and amidst his grief and rage, he could only let out a mournful wail, "I am guilty—"
The girl on the throne was already swinging her legs as she sat there, opening up a bunch of paper-wrapped packages that Chu Liang had taken out, taking various fried snacks from them. When it came to cooking junk food, the street stalls of Yu Capital City were thousands of years ahead of the Demonic Clan.
"Of course, you’re guilty," Chu Liang chimed in and chastised, "seeing how hungry we’ve let Lord Demon God get, and you still thought of stopping me from going up the mountain?"
The Grand Priest, looking at Chu Liang’s pretentious bravado, felt his blood rushing to his Crown Chakra, so angry he nearly fainted, yet he dared not provoke the Demon God. He had no choice but to turn around and shout towards the outside.
"All Demon Kings, hurry to Seven Kings Ridge to converge!"
The sound waves instantly passed over the many mountains, reaching the ears of the several Demon Kings.
Seeing this, Chu Liang smiled and said, "Good, I think it’s time for the negotiations between the Human Clan and the Demonic Clan to begin."
He also took out the Immortal Friends Circle Token to send a message to Lin Bei and the others, asking the human delegation to come up to Seven Kings Ridge.
The Grand Priest had no pleasant expression as he said coldly, "Since it’s a negotiation, then you first release Lord Demon God, and we will find another place to talk."
"Since it’s a negotiation, of course we should talk to Lord Demon God," Chu Liang replied as he passed over a box of fried meatballs, asking with a beaming smile, "Tuntun, you haven’t eaten these meatballs before. If I give them to you, can we forget about the Western Regions, okay?"
"Okay." Tuntun still had no idea what the Western Regions were, but she thought the meatballs smelled nice and immediately nodded without hesitation.
"Chu Liang, you boy, don’t push it too far!" The Grand Priest roared, "Our terms are already very generous, how dare you deceive the Demon God?"
"Don’t be in such a hurry, Grand Priest," Chu Liang waved his hand and laughed, "My relationship with Tuntun is so good, I naturally won’t let her be at a disadvantage. Although I can’t give you the Western Regions, I must give you a good place after all; this can be discussed slowly."
"For example, I know of some islands outside the Eastern Sea, when put together, are larger than a state. Recently, they were still a Fairyland... now they are also rich in spiritual energy, perfect for the Demonic Clan to settle in, huh."
...
Shortly before the Grand Priest’s outcry, there was already quite a scene taking place atop Seven Kings Ridge.
The moment the White Ghost King was hit by the feathered projectile, he truly thought he was going to fall right there and then, but fortunately, the Dharma Body he had cultivated over many years was strong. His whole body flashed with white light, becoming transparent instantly.
Yet the power of the Eighth Realm could, to some extent, ignore his Divine Skills. As the black flame feather passed through his transparent body, it exploded, and the fierce black flame immediately engulfed the White Ghost King.
Thanks to his Divine Skills mitigating the penetrating force, he dodged the brunt of the Black Gold Crow Sharp Kill Path’s most powerful attack. But merely the supporting black flames nearly cost him his life.
After the violent explosion, the White Ghost King’s body was blasted backwards more than a hundred yards and slammed hard against the rock wall, nearly losing consciousness and unable to move any further.
Just when he thought he was going to be Chu Liang’s scapegoat for the day, a force suddenly grabbed him and swiftly pulled him back, wrapping him in a whirlwind and swiftly taking him away from there.
"Eh?"
White Ghost King was unexpectedly surprised. The only ally he had in this world had already died, so who would come to save him now?
Moments later, the whirlwind ceased, and he saw a rather plain face.
It was Xiao Wuyin.
It turned out that the Heavenly Master had sensed something wrong with Seven Kings Ridge and wanted to leave immediately, but Xiao Wuyin, using the excuse of looking for his sister, had chosen to stay on this mountain alone.
