A short distance from the Cryaxis Hunter’s City

Jaleth was born in the waters of the ocean, just like most of the current generation of humans on Oceana. Long after the humans of the planet originally moved into the waters due to lack of space. And even longer after half of the islands either sunk into the oceans or were devastated and made uninhabitable.

Yet he has never felt genuinely shocked by anything he’s seen in the waters.

He’s always been raised with the idea of just how powerful the monsters deep in the waters are. Along with how horrifying a great number of them are.

Even when the System arrived, granting the humans power to finally fight back against the monsters, he wasn’t too shocked. After all, he lived on a world covered with eldritch abominations deep in the water. So what difference was some strange thing called a System?

If anything, he took it as hope to deal with the monsters and finally break out of the darkness human society had fallen to.

But ever since he’s met Aqua, he’s been facing one shock after another as she breaks everything he’s come to know about humanity.

Showing power and abilities beyond what even the System has shown to grant other people on the planet. Showing common sense disconnected with everyone else. And not even bothering to hide how different she is from everyone else.

Despite all this, he’s grown to like the eccentric young woman over his time knowing her. Even if she still can’t remember his name.

Now though? As he finds himself frozen in shock watching on from hundreds of meters away from the battle for the city, where an army of strange monsters seemingly loyal to Aqua fight against the other monsters?

Including the leader of the migration itself.

All with Aqua herself just floating in place at the center of it all as her level occasionally goes up. Proving that these monsters with glowing deep blue eyes and deep blue almost black skin and scales slaughtering the other monsters are giving her EXP for their kills.

Now he genuinely feels fear of the woman he’s grown to think of as a friend.

“Just… what is she?” he eventually mutters aloud as the monsters continue to slaughter the other monsters.

A short distance from the Cryaxis Hunter’s City elsewhere

A cloaked figure watches the battle going down as they feel a chill run through their spine. One that has them fleeing immediately in terror. All while the sight of the imposter swimming amidst thousands of monsters all under her control repeatedly flashes through their mind.

But the moment they emit even the slightest bit of mana with even the smallest hint of animosity towards Aqua in it, the massive shark attacking the strongest monsters around the city instantly turns in the cloaked figure’s direction.

Then the shark accelerates straight through the water while opening its mouth. Only to chomp down directly on the calves of the cloaked figure, making a high pitched feminine scream echo through the water before the cloaked figure disappears thanks to a teleportation Object given to them not too long ago.

Leaving nothing behind but the two legs chomped off by the shark consisting of just half of the cloaked figure’s calves and their feet. Which the shark soon swallows whole.

And after several seconds of silence as the shark blinks and looks around the area, it turns back to reenter the battlefield without a second thought.

All Across the Alliance

Everywhere people look, whether the internet, the electronic billboards across the large cities, or even the random TVs located in different stores, they find video of Aqua seemingly raising all the monsters in the migration from the dead before sending them to attack the rest of the migration. Including the level ninety shark she struggled to kill just moments ago.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a Class I world or a Class V world.

Every last world across the Alliance has her video plastered across it.

Even private TVs located at home show her video in the form of news channels from across the Alliance.

“Breaking News! Aqua Azuranth has truly become the queen of the Ocean!!!”

“The first dual Bloodliner shows new skills unseen before that shock the Alliance!”

“Breaking News! The first necromantic Bloodliner?!”

“The true ruler of the waters has been found! Meet Aqua Azuranth, daughter of both the Kraken and Abyssal Orca Bloodlines! But is she genuinely just a dual Bloodliner?! Or is she something more?!”

And soon enough, questions about her Bloodline quickly begin to rise amongst the people of the Alliance as she shows skills not known to either the Abyssal Orca or Kraken Bloodlines. Prompting the Bloodline Research Center to propose a new possibility.

One never even considered before.

The possibility that a dual Bloodliner can’t genuinely exist. That the Bloodlines merge instead of staying separate.

Meanwhile all the two dozen Bloodline families pay close attention to the broadcast. For some reason feeling intimidated by the mere sight of the woman on it.

Of Aqua Azuranth, granddaughter of the Patriarch of the Kraken and Abyssal Orca Bloodlines.

As they all begin to feel a shift in the balance of power amongst Bloodliners.

At the potential addition of a new Bloodliner.

But with that shift, they all begin to wonder something.

Whether or not there is an Ancient Monster that may go along with this potential merged Bloodline.

And throughout all this, the two grandfathers of the woman both laugh in joy at the sight of their granddaughter’s display of power. Proud of her beyond belief.

But after Aqua finishes dealing with all the monsters around the city, the broadcast, which is being shown live to everyone across the Alliance, hears her mutter something to herself while putting her hands in her new armor’s pockets.

“Finally… some armor with pockets at last.”

Within the Abyss

“This was where we lost contact with him,” Vesaros Azuranth says, his voice echoing quietly through the water around him and the other Kraken Bloodliners near him.

“I don’t see anything,” Juline Azuranth states with a frown on her face as she looks around. “Are we sure he didn’t get lost in the current nearby?”

Silence fills the waters as the four Krakens continue searching for their missing family member. But it isn’t until an hour later that one of them finds something.

“It’s his bracelet…” Varanth Azuranth mutters while holding a blue bracelet with two pictures on it. Both of whom are young infants.

The very bracelet Rithral Azuranth refuses to let go of no matter what.

One with a baby picture of Rithral’s own son along with a picture of his niece.

Of Orvyn’s daughter.

“Something happened to him,” Vesaros says as his eyes narrow into slits, feeling worried about his young nephew. “He would never willingly take that off.”

Juline opens her mouth to speak, only to pause when she and the others all notice something strange deep beneath them. But their surprise quickly turns to caution when at the sight of a very faint deep blue glow.

All of them create barriers around themselves, not too worried about the dangers of this layer of the Abyss when they’re all together. Even if they would be worried on their own.

What they soon see sends confusion and a hint of fear running through them all though.

Because it’s the sight of hundreds of eyes opening one after another. With the lights from their eyes illuminating the faces they’re attached to.

All monsters with deep blue almost black skin or scales and glowing deep blue eyes. And all acting together without showing any aggression towards each other.

But when they identify the monsters, a strange result appears.

[Abyssal Copy – Deep Rigola – Level 37168]

A light blue identify tag appears for every last one of them, each with the words ‘Abyssal Copy’ before their numerous different species names.

“This isn’t good,” Vesaros mutters before all four of the Krakens quickly begin transforming into their Kraken forms. “But I think we found a clue about what happened to Rithral.”

The others nod their heads after transforming.

Then they all begin fighting against the horde of monsters.
