Chapter 74: Chapter 75 Acupuncture Usage

Who was this young man? What was his purpose?

While his heart was tumultuous like stormy waves, his mind was also flashing through various thoughts as swiftly as lightning.

"Who are you? Hiding here, what are you doing? Do you not know that trespassing into someone’s home is illegal?"

It took a while before the man managed to show a semblance of calmness as he stared at the young man, his voice stern as he commanded.

"Are you Jin Dongming?"

Xiao Yi looked at the seemingly strong man with indifference, ignoring his feigned assertive shout.

"Yes, I am. Since you know my name, you should be aware of who Mr. Jin is. If you leave now, I can act as if nothing happened."

Despite knowing that the young man standing before him wouldn’t likely be scared off by his reputation, Jin Dongming still tried to speak with a hint of authority in his cold voice.

"Tell me where Chen Jianguo’s daughter, Chen Xue, is, and I might let you off the hook."

Xiao Yi looked at Jin Dongming impassively.

"What are you talking about! You’re spouting nonsense; I don’t understand what you mean. Chairman Chen’s daughter is of course at Chairman Chen’s house, why are you asking me?"

Hearing Xiao Yi’s words, Jin Dongming’s face momentarily changed color, but he quickly feigned a baffled expression and angrily retorted, "So you were sent by Chairman Chen. What does Chairman Chen mean by this!"

Watching the pretense on Jin Dongming’s face, Xiao Yi let out a cold smirk, and, too lazy to speak further, flicked his finger, and a thin silver needle appeared between them. As soon as Jin Dongming finished speaking, Xiao Yi moved, and a straight silver needle appeared on Jin Dongming’s neck.

Just as Jin Dongming finished cursing, he saw Xiao Yi’s figure suddenly vanish. His face changed in an instant, and before he could react, he felt a mosquito bite on his neck and his body went limp, collapsing to the ground.

"What... what are you going to do!"

Jin Dongming lifted his head in fear, looking at Xiao Yi.

Xiao Yi did not answer him; he was too tired of wasting words on those who refuse to accept reality until they hit rock bottom. He had never encountered someone who hadn’t eventually spoken, and he believed there may be tough nuts in the world that he couldn’t crack, but certainly not the man before him.

Most people’s understanding of silver needles is rooted in the acupuncture technique used in traditional Chinese medicine, which is intended to treat illnesses and save lives.

However, only a very few know that needles can also be used for killing and coercion.

Xiao Yi was one of those few. At the age of fifteen, the old man had told him about the twelve needles that could make even the toughest fighter submit. As for the needle technique for killing, it wasn’t taught by the old man but rather developed by him through his own research.

From a young age, he showed a rare interest in needles. Where the old man taught him how to heal, he would derive techniques that could kill from the therapeutic methods imparted by the old man. His natural talent with the needles even made the old man take a second look in amazement.

Yet, as a child, Xiao Yi was someone who would grieve over the death of a rabbit used for experiments; the old man always called Xiao Yi an absolute oddity because of this.

Now, he was about to make Jin Dongming say the words he wanted to hear.

With a flick of his wrist, a silver needle appeared in Xiao Yi’s hand—much shorter than the one used before.

After glancing at the needle, a cold smirk appeared on Xiao Yi’s face. He grabbed Jin Dongming’s thick hand and gently pricked the tip of his index finger with the needle. Xiao Yi’s touch was so light, it seemed even gentler than a routine blood type test at a hospital.

But as the needle pierced his skin, Jin Dongming passed out from the pain instantly, not even letting out a cry or a groan.

The pain was piercing, bone-deep agony!

Jin Dongming could no longer describe the nature of the pain he was experiencing.

However, he didn’t stay unconscious for long. The moment he fainted, Xiao Yi’s next needle promptly awoke him from the pain-inflicted stupor.

"Now, can you tell me where Chen Xue is?"

Xiao Yi looked at Jin Dongming, whose face was completely distorted with pain, his pitiful eyes seeking mercy. Xiao Yi softly removed the short needle from his finger. He wanted the man coherent, for fainting was a luxury not permitted.

"In... I also... don’t know... It was Sun Hao’s people who did it. I was not involved, and what I’m telling you is the truth!"

Jin Dongming’s eyes were filled with immense fear. Before him stood not a man, but a terrifying devil. He never imagined that such intense, frightful pain could exist in this world, and that it could be inflicted by such a tiny silver needle.

"Where is that Sun Hao?"

Xiao Yi’s gaze lingered on Jin Dongming’s face for about three seconds, and once convinced that he wasn’t lying, he asked coldly.

"I don’t know..."

As soon as Jin Dongming finished speaking and saw a cold smile form on Xiao Yi’s lips, his heart skipped a beat. He quickly continued, "I’m telling the truth, but I know that around this time, he’s usually at Fenghua Bar on Three River Avenue in Beixiu District."

After speaking and seeing that Xiao Yi remained silent, Jin Dongming hurriedly added, "I... I’ll make a call right now to check on him."

With that, he shakily took out his cellphone, which he had just slid into his pocket, found a number, and carefully dialed while watching Xiao Yi.

"Hello, Brother Hao? This is Jin Dongming. Where are you now? I’m coming to see you."

"Oh, got it, the bar, right? Okay."

After finishing the call, Jin Dongming cautiously looked up at Xiao Yi, "I’ve confirmed it, he... he’s at the bar now."

"Considering you’ve been somewhat cooperative, I’ll tell you two things before I go. First, I’m not sent by Chen Jianguo; he can’t control me. Of course, you can believe it or not. If you insist on thinking I was sent by him, it doesn’t matter, as I am indeed helping him. Second, leave Jianguo Group immediately, completely. You can sell the shares you hold in Jianguo Group to Chen Jianguo at a reasonable price. Third, if I go to the bar and don’t find that Sun Hao, you will die a terrible death. Fourth, my name is Xiao Yi, I live in Chairman Chen’s villa at Azure Waterfront. You should be familiar with the place; feel free to come and seek revenge anytime."

Having said that nonchalantly, the silver needle in Xiao Yi’s hand flashed as he swiftly punctured several spots on Jin Dongming’s back, throat, and other areas, then he turned and made his way back to the window he had come through. With a light leap, he jumped out and disappeared from Jin Dongming’s line of sight.
