"Xiao Yi, it’s really you."

The girl had just seen Xiao Yi’s back and found it familiar but wasn’t entirely sure until he turned his head. When she saw his face, she rushed over to him with a face full of surprise.

"It’s me, haha."

Xiao Yi smiled briefly. He had a good impression of this girl, who, despite great pressure that day, had agreed to let him treat her grandfather. Although he was absolutely confident in his medical skills, and indeed, she had made an absolutely wise choice, from the girl’s perspective, it was not an easy decision—a young man who looked barely over twenty and without a medical license.

"I’m so glad to have run into you, I thought I might never see you again."

"He’s doing very well. After taking the medicine you prescribed, his blood pressure has stabilized, and he feels much better than before. In fact, these last few days he has been insisting that we must find you to express our thanks."

Hearing Xiao Yi’s words, the girl spoke excitedly. After finishing, her eyes filled with gratitude and admiration as she looked at Xiao Yi, "Xiao Yi, I can’t believe how young you are, yet your medical skills are so advanced, even more impressive than our professors. They’ve been treating my grandfather for so long without any progress!"

Thinking of her grandfather’s recent health and monitoring his blood pressure, she felt even more fortunate that she made such an utterly correct decision that day. Seeing the sincere gratitude in the girl’s eyes, Xiao Yi felt a bit abashed. Initially, he hadn’t wanted to get involved that day, and in the end, he had intervened merely out of a moment’s compassion. After going back, he had felt a bit regretful, but he had not expected it to earn such sincere gratitude from her.

"Lulu, who is this?"

The girl was about to say something when a gentle voice interrupted her.

"Ah, Big Brother Qian, have you parked the car? Come, let me introduce you. This is Divine Doctor Xiao, Big Brother Xiao Yi who saved my grandfather a few days ago."
