"Courting death!"

As a multitude of legs kicked towards him, Xiao Yi’s eyes showed a trace of disdain, and his stance was as if nailed to the spot, showing no intention to dodge. It wasn’t until the crowd’s kicks were about to land on him that he suddenly leaped, letting out a cold snort, his own leg lashing out like lightning in a sweeping circle toward the direction of the attacking legs.

"Ah!"

"Ah!"

"...!"

Accompanied by several crisp sounds of bone colliding directly, those kicking felt as though they had struck solid steel; their legs seemed to snap instantly as they clutched them and fell to the ground, screaming in agony.

"Guo!"

"Huang!"

"Ayi!"

"..."

The remaining men in Taekwondo uniforms were shocked as they saw their comrades screaming on the ground. They had seen and heard clearly how Xiao Yi’s leg had solidly clashed against theirs in that instant. Unexpectedly, this man, who seemed like a pretty boy, tall and thin, was unharmed, while their companions lay on the ground as if their legs were broken.

Is this guy not just a manipulator of some underhanded tricks? How could his actual Leg Technique be so formidable?

After a while, they finally snapped out of it and hurried to the screaming ones lying on the ground, those closer to them, and anxiously inquired about their condition.

"Taekwondo isn’t much, is it? What’s the matter, your underlings are injured, and you’re not avenging them?"

Xiao Yi looked indifferently at the leader of the men.

"I... Kid, if you’ve got the guts, don’t run!"

The leader was completely shaken by the scene before Xiao Yi; he had previously seen their boss, Young Master Li, taken down, but he had no clue how Xiao Yi had done it as he had never seen Xiao Yi make a move. Thus, he always believed that Xiao Yi must have used some kind of trickery to hurt Young Master Li. When he saw Xiao Yi harden up and clash with his subordinates, he had scoffed in his heart, thinking Xiao Yi was looking to die. His subordinates trained daily; a normal person would not break a leg in a clash, but swelling and pain for months, making one cry for their parents, were certain.

However, he could never have anticipated that the situation would turn on its head, and now it was his own men who were shouting and howling in pain.

Hearing Xiao Yi’s words, he snapped back from his shock, anger and humiliation boiling within him at the sight of Xiao Yi’s disdainful expression. He yearned to kick Xiao Yi to death, but remembering what had just happened, fear prevailed, and he took an involuntary step backward.

Although he considered his cultivation power slightly better than that of his companions, he did not believe he could take a kick from the man before him.

"Go tell that Li guy that this matter is settled for now, but it’s best not to provoke me again in the future. My patience has its limits. If you still want to fight, then come on quickly. If not, roll out of here; we’re about to begin class, and I don’t want you disrupting it."

Xiao Yi looked at the leader’s cowardly demeanor, curling his lip in unabashed contempt. He couldn’t be bothered with the trivial person or his obstinate retorts, simply remarking lazily before settling down for himself.

"You..."

Seeing Xiao Yi’s arrogant demeanor and hearing his absolutely arrogant words, the leader and a group of people dressed in white Taekwondo uniforms instantly showed angry expressions on their faces. They wished they could rush forward and tear the youngster into two. Ever since Young Master Li took over the Taekwondo Club these past few years, the club’s status at Z University had soared. Wearing their uniforms out in the school usually symbolized their identity, and wherever they went, they attracted a following. Never before had they been looked down upon or suffered such humiliation, but despite everyone pointing fingers at him, ultimately no one dared to charge forward.

"Hm? Are you deaf? Can’t hear me speaking?"

Xiao Yi sat for a while and seeing that nobody was leaving, his expression suddenly turned cold.

"Kid, you just wait, our Taekwondo Club won’t let this go!"

Seeing Xiao Yi seemingly ready to get angry, the leader’s face changed from green to red for a while, still bit the bullet, pointed at Xiao Yi, and cursed vehemently. He then said to his subordinates, "Let’s go," and strode toward the classroom door. As he walked out, his expression was as if he wanted to devour someone. The onlooking crowd in the classroom, seeing their expressions, quickly lowered their heads and moved aside, afraid of provoking his ire, though inwardly they felt nothing but contempt.

The rest of the group, seeing their boss had run off, also hurried to help up the few unfortunate ones who had been the first to kick, and quickly left the classroom.

"Boss, you’re too awesome. Just one kick and you made them run away!"

Watching the group dressed in white Taekwondo uniforms leaving in a sorry state and supporting each other, Fatty Tang excitedly returned to his seat, eyes sparkling as he looked at Xiao Yi.

"If you seriously practice your Jiu-Jitsu, it won’t be long before you can take them on alone."

Xiao Yi stretched out languidly and said casually.

"Boss, really? Are you serious?"

Fatty Tang’s eyes widened, staring at Xiao Yi in disbelief.

"Of course, I’m serious. When have I ever lied to you?"

Xiao Yi replied without hesitation, "As long as you master that Jiu-Jitsu, forget about these guys; even if that what’s-his-name Young Master Li personally steps in, it’s not certain you’d lose."

He could tell that Li Ziming must have put in quite some effort to practice that so-called Taekwondo, with a bit of skill in his legs. But such skills, in Xiao Yi’s eyes, were nothing more than primary level showmanship. If Fatty Tang mastered that Jiu-Jitsu and tangled him up, there would be no chance for him to kick.

"Boss, don’t worry. I will definitely practice hard," Fatty Tang said, his face full of excitement.

These past few days, practicing that Jiu-Jitsu had left him sore and utterly exhausted. He was beginning to feel a sense of weariness, but now, hearing Xiao Yi’s words and recalling the impressive display he just witnessed, his fighting spirit surged once again.

"Right, practice well. It’ll always be useful," Xiao Yi said as he looked at Fatty Tang’s excited face, showing a slight smile. He gently patted his shoulder, spoke a word, then began to open his books and started reading on his own. (To be continued.
