Leaving the private room, Chen Yang went to the counter first to settle the bill for the meal.

After settling the tab, they exchanged brief farewells, and Wang Hong drove off with Wang Qingyue.

"Chen Yang, should we head back now too?" After watching Wang Qingyue and Wang Hong drive away, Dai Annie suddenly turned to Chen Yang and asked.

They left the county and returned to Liuriver Village.

Once home, there wasn’t much to do.

After briefly discussing the next day’s plan, Dai Annie went inside to wash up and went to sleep.

Chen Yang glanced at the time; it was just after ten, so he decided to practice Swift Steps in the backyard before washing up and going to sleep.

He also prepared breakfast, and they ate together.

After breakfast, Chen Yang prepared to take Dai Annie to the warm room, but before leaving, he noticed Dai Annie was still dressed in her cute attire today, so he reminded her.

Cher Yang understood she meant well, and hearing her express such thoughts felt comforting.

"Alright, Aunt Wang, I got it. You all can start working; I’ve got arrangements for these three warm rooms," Chen Yang nodded.

Wang Hong chuckled and happily said okay, then turned to lead the other women to the old warm rooms to gather wild mushrooms.

Chen Yang stood in place with Dai Annie, waiting for a while. Before long, Wu Kexin arrived with three or four women.

These three to four women weren’t locals but from nearby villages.

Chen Yang didn’t know them personally but was familiar with them and knew they were from neighboring villages.
