When the elevator dinged open, the two of them walked out together.

"Chen Yang, come sit in the office with me and help me choose some people." Li Han smiled and said to Chen Yang, then led him across the office area and into a room.

He found that the decor and layout of this room were quite similar to the office at Lintianxia.

By the time he returned to the village, it was completely dark.

As he passed by the medical clinic and saw it was dark, Chen Yang didn’t stop and instead drove directly to the village office.

Getting out of the car at the village office, Chen Yang saw from a distance that Dai Annie was helping Wu Kexin in the room, the two of them were cooking.

"Chen Yang, why are you back?"

"Of course I have to help when Kexin is doing something. You’re a big man, you don’t need my help." Dai Annie said reasonably.

After speaking, she continued to help wash vegetables and didn’t say much more to Chen Yang.

Chen Yang shook his head with a smile and went up to help as well.

The three of them working together naturally sped things up.

In no time, the steaming dishes were ready.

As they sat down to eat, Wu Kexin asked what Chen Yang had been doing today.

"I went to see Li Han and talked about the village construction site matters." Chen Yang replied casually.

Upon hearing it was about Li Han, Wu Kexin just responded with an "oh" and didn’t pursue the topic further.

Then Chen Yang remembered the donation matter from today: "By the way, has the total donation from everyone been tallied today? How much is it?"
