"Mr. Chen, how about joining me at the company for lunch? That way, we can also discuss the design style."

Chen Yang initially planned to take Yang Ruoxi out for a meal and talk about why they chose to open the shop here.

But since the manager of the renovation company had extended the invitation, Chen Yang couldn’t decline, so he agreed.

"Sure, let’s eat at your company then."

Chen Yang smiled and agreed. Then he took Yang Ruoxi back into the renovation company’s car, returned to the office, and had lunch there with her.

During the meal, Chen Yang discussed many details about the renovation style with the manager.

The manager, after understanding Chen Yang’s needs, promised to have the design drawings ready by tomorrow so that renovations could begin.

"Great, the sooner the renovations are done, the sooner I can open for business," Chen Yang said with a smile.

"Hehe, Mr. Chen, Ms. Yang, don’t worry. Since you’ve chosen us, we’ll make sure to give you both a satisfactory outcome," the manager replied politely.

"Alright."

Chen Yang nodded with satisfaction and then stood up, saying, "We’ve eaten and talked, so we’ll head out now. If anything comes up, feel free to call me anytime."

"Of course, Mr. Chen. Take care."

The manager noticed they were leaving and went out of his way to see them off.

The level of service was indeed commendable. Quality comes at a price for a reason.

After leaving the renovation company, Chen Yang drove Yang Ruoxi to a quieter spot.

"Now, can you tell me why you decided to open the restaurant right across from Lin Hui’s place?"

Chen Yang had planned to bring it up himself, but he didn’t expect Yang Ruoxi to beat him to it with her question.

So, he simply followed her lead and started explaining.

He shared his thoughts, his plan to help Niu Ming make money, and his intent to settle some scores—all in one go.

After listening, Yang Ruoxi’s face lit up with excitement.

"Wow, Chen Yang, that’s so cool! Using his strongest skill against him—that’s bold! And so satisfying!"

"When his shop finally closes down, he’ll probably be in tears, haha!"

Yang Ruoxi’s reaction was dramatic, fully supporting and endorsing Chen Yang’s plans.

To be honest, her reaction surprised Chen Yang.

He had been worried she might not support such a risky move.

After all, this was the outskirts of town, and Lin Hui’s shop already had an established customer base. Taking it down wouldn’t be easy at all.

But to his surprise, Yang Ruoxi showed full support.

"Haha, I don’t know about crying, but he’ll definitely be furious," Chen Yang said with a grin.

Yang Ruoxi laughed heartily at that and could already imagine Lin Hui’s infuriated face.

"Oh right, you still haven’t told me—what nonsense did Lin Hui say about me? Tell me, I want to hear just how shameless he can be." After saying that, Chen Yang turned the question back on Yang Ruoxi.

Upon hearing this, Yang Ruoxi thought for a moment, organized her words, and said, "He just whined to me, saying he went there with good intentions to guide you guys, but you wouldn’t listen. Then, when he tried to say a few more things, you got physical and hit him."

"When I first heard all that, I was totally thrown off. But then I thought, there’s no way you’re that kind of person, and I felt better."

Yang Ruoxi spoke with utmost seriousness.

Hearing the latter part of her words, Chen Yang cracked a smile.

"You knew I wasn’t like that, so why still call me about it?"

"I needed to confirm, alright? Sure, I believe you, but I still wanted to know the truth of what happened," Yang Ruoxi replied.

Chen Yang fell silent for a few seconds, then nodded, agreeing with her reasoning.

"Alright, now that we’ve talked it out, where to next?" After saying that, Yang Ruoxi asked where they should head.

The afternoon was still long; sitting in the car all day wasn’t an option.

Chen Yang thought the same but couldn’t think of a good place to go. So, he turned the question back on Yang Ruoxi. "I’m not sure either—where would you like to go? I’ve got free time this afternoon, so I can tag along anywhere you want to go have fun."

Hearing this, Yang Ruoxi immediately broke into a grin.

"Alright! Let me think about it for a bit!"

Yang Ruoxi nodded in agreement, then started brainstorming where they could go for the afternoon.

After thinking for quite a while, only one idea came to her—a sauna.

"How about we go for a sauna, Chen Yang? Lately, all this running around for the restaurant has been exhausting. I just want to relax." Yang Ruoxi suddenly suggested.

Hearing her suggestion, Chen Yang found himself agreeing. Truth be told, he felt pretty drained as well.

So, he nodded. "Sure, sounds good. Let’s do it."

"Hehe, let’s go then! I know a place with excellent service, and I’ve still got money on my card, so today’s on me!" Yang Ruoxi said generously.

"Alright, if you put it that way, I won’t hold back." Chen Yang smiled and nodded. Then he started the car and headed toward the place Yang Ruoxi had mentioned.

After about ten minutes, they arrived at the sauna’s location.

Once downstairs, Chen Yang casually found a parking spot and, together with Yang Ruoxi, got out of the car.

After stepping out, Chen Yang instinctively glanced up at the signboard.

"Is it this one?" Chen Yang pointed at the signboard and asked Yang Ruoxi beside him.

Yang Ruoxi glanced up at it and nodded. "Yep, that’s the one. Let’s go. I guarantee you’ll feel great after!"

Yang Ruoxi flashed a mischievous smile, then linked her arm with Chen Yang’s and headed inside.

The sauna wasn’t on the ground floor but rather the third floor of the building.

From the signboard alone, Chen Yang could tell it was no small establishment, but he hadn’t expected the entire third floor to be dedicated to the sauna!

After taking the elevator up, they walked just a few steps before reaching the front desk of the sauna.

"Welcome!"

As Chen Yang and Yang Ruoxi stepped through the door, professional greeters on both sides promptly welcomed them.

This was one of the perks of a big establishment—the service was always thorough.

If it were a smaller shop, would they get this kind of treatment?

"Hi, this is the membership card I got last time. Two people." At the front desk, Yang Ruoxi quickly pulled out a card resembling a bank card from her bag.

The staff at the front desk glanced at the card and a hint of change appeared on their faces.

"Of course, ma’am. You’re one of our most esteemed VIP clients. You’re entitled to a complimentary private room service." The receptionist smiled as they spoke. Then, another staff member immediately stepped forward, bowed at a ninety-degree angle, and made an inviting gesture. "This way, sir and ma’am. Let me show you to your exclusive private room."

Yang Ruoxi showed no particular reaction, simply nodded, and followed along.
