"This girl wants to stay over at my house. Wang Hong and Old Man Wang actually feel comfortable with this?" Chen Yang found it somewhat odd but didn’t dwell on it.

After all, he was a man. If Wang Qingyue wanted to come over, what could he say to refuse?

After finishing his meal and resting for about 20 minutes, Wang Qingyue arrived.

"What are you up to this afternoon? Can you take me along?"

Seeing her arrive, Chen Yang got up from his rocking chair.

"I plan to gather herbs on the mountain. If you want to join me, you’re welcome," Chen Yang replied with a smile.

Wang Qingyue thought about it for a moment and nodded, "Alright, I’ll come along."

"Great, wait a bit then. I’ll grab my stuff, and we’ll head out." Chen Yang got up and went inside to fetch his basket and machete, then called Wangcai along.

With everything prepared, the three of them set out to the mountain to gather herbs.
