Chen Yang frowned slightly, feeling puzzled.

He couldn’t understand what Wangcai was doing.

However, he didn’t disturb Wangcai and chose instead to stand by and watch, wanting to see what this fellow was up to!

Chen Yang leaned against the wall, watching for about five minutes.

Finally, Wangcai pulled out the complete snake bone.

But Wangcai had already returned to the doghouse, and Eagle Brother, standing outside, couldn’t attack Wangcai!

After several unsuccessful attempts to reach Wangcai, Eagle Brother retracted its claws and began pacing back and forth outside the doghouse.

Moreover, it kept making angry sounds as if warning Wangcai inside to hand over the item.

But Wangcai was adamant this time, not only ignoring Eagle Brother but also growling defiantly from inside the nest.

These two usually got along quite harmoniously.

Curious, Chen Yang walked toward the nest near Eagle Brother.

"Wangcai, come out."

Chen Yang glanced at Eagle Brother and then called out to Wangcai in the nest.

Hearing Chen Yang’s voice, Wangcai’s demeanor immediately calmed down, and it crawled out of the doghouse.

As it came out, it kept barking as if it had found someone to plead its case to.

Chen Yang wanted to laugh but held it in.

"What are you fighting over? Bring it out so I can see." Chen Yang said to Wangcai.

Wangcai immediately shook its head, giving Eagle Brother a wary look.

Chen Yang understood its meaning: "Don’t worry, I’m here, nothing will happen. I’ll back you up, just bring it out and let me see."

Chen Yang said seriously. Wangcai hesitated for several seconds and reluctantly turned back to the nest.

Then it took out the item it had just carried inside.

This time, Wangcai slowed down, and Chen Yang naturally saw clearly.

It was a snake skull, with four sharp fangs very prominent, exuding a strange sheen.

"What...is this?"

Chen Yang’s eyes were fixed on the snake skull in Wangcai’s mouth.

Eagle Brother, seeing it, immediately chirped and tried to pounce on it.

Once they were at his feet, Chen Yang smiled and asked, "Wangcai, Eagle Brother, do you both want this snake skull?"

Both responded to Chen Yang without hesitation, indicating they both wanted it.

Chen Yang smirked and continued, "But there’s only one snake skull, and I can’t just give it to one of you!"

"So, I’ve decided it should temporarily stay with me. This way, you both don’t have to fight over it."

"And of course, leaving it with me won’t be without reward. I’ll give you each an extra Elixir to strengthen your bodies every day in return. How does that sound?"

Upon hearing this, Eagle Brother chirped agreement without hesitation.

Because it hadn’t actually seized the snake skull, so getting free Elixirs was no problem for it.
