No wonder this girl suddenly seemed unhappy; she got jealous on hearing Li Han’s voice.

"What’s that little head of yours thinking? It’s really business; what kind of date would I have in broad daylight," Chen Yang explained with a smile.

"Then just treat me as your secretary. I don’t care; I’m coming with you," Dai Annie insisted, wanting to go together.

Chen Yang was a bit troubled but couldn’t do anything about this girl.

After thinking it over, he decided it was just a regular business talk, and showing her to Li Han wouldn’t hurt, so he nodded in agreement.

"Alright, then pretend to be my secretary. I’ll take you along, but you must behave yourself and not create any trouble. This is serious business," Chen Yang earnestly advised.

Seeing Chen Yang agree, Dai Annie immediately beamed with joy.

"You drive, and I’ll take my van," Chen Yang said as he got out of the car.

Dai Annie quickly got out from the passenger seat and swapped places.

Then, the two of them drove their cars towards Lin Tianxia.

The Jiang An Restaurant wasn’t far from Lin Tianxia, just a few kilometers away. It took them about ten minutes to arrive and find parking spots.

After parking the cars, they both got out.

"Is... is this Lin Tianxia?"

Stepping out, Dai Annie looked up at the hotel name with a surprised expression.

Chen Yang paused, "Yeah, you know this place? Have you been here before?"

Dai Annie seemed a bit off, like she was genuinely surprised, but Chen Yang noticed.

But she didn’t say much, just nodded, indicating she knew the hotel without further explanation.

"Alright then, come up with me, and remember our agreement. You’re my secretary, so don’t mess around," Chen Yang said seriously before leading her into the hotel.

They then took the elevator together to the top floor.

Arriving at the top floor, Dai Annie curiously looked around.

Chen Yang thought it was just simple curiosity, so he didn’t comment and led her to Li Han’s office door, knocking gently.

"Come in."

Hearing Li Han’s voice, Chen Yang opened the door and entered.

Li Han had already realized it was Chen Yang and had come out from behind her desk to greet him.

"Chen Yang, you’re quick!" Li Han approached with a smile.

"Yeah, I was nearby when you called," Chen Yang replied with a smile, stepping aside to introduce Dai Annie to Li Han.

"Sister Li Han!"

"Sister Annie!"

But before he could speak, the two of them locked eyes, looking at each other with surprised expressions.

"Sister Annie, what are you doing here?" Li Han was the first to react and asked.

Dai Annie sweetly smiled, "Sister Li Han, I figured it might be you planning to meet Chen Yang for business when I saw the hotel, but I didn’t expect it to really be you."

"So you came with Chen Yang, then?" Li Han continued to inquire with a smile.

Dai Annie nodded, indicating she indeed came with Chen Yang.

Li Han was delighted, "That’s great! It’s been ages since we last met, so we must catch up today."

"Sure, Sister Li Han, I really want to chat with you," Dai Annie was equally pleased.

The two women were delighted to meet.

Meanwhile, Chen Yang was a bit dumbfounded, not understanding the situation.

"You two... know each other?" Chen Yang asked in surprise.

Both Li Han and Dai Annie laughed at Chen Yang’s perplexed expression.

"Yes, my family and Sister Li Han’s family have known each other for ages, and we met as kids. We’ve just been busy these past few years and haven’t met as often," Dai Annie explained linking her arm with Li Han’s affectionately.

They appeared very close.

"Yeah, Chen Yang, you might not know, but our family and Annie’s uncle’s family are very close," Li Han confirmed, supporting Dai Annie’s words.

Chen Yang was initially confused, but now that he heard them, he recalled.

The Dai Family was the wealthiest in the neighboring county, and the Li Family was the richest here, so their interaction was entirely normal.

"Oh, I see. Since you know each other, I won’t introduce you. Let’s sit down and chat," Chen Yang suggested with a smile.

Both Dai Annie and Li Han chuckled, nodding as they followed Chen Yang to the sofas.

But unexpectedly, once Li Han and Dai Annie sat down, they held hands and began chatting on the sofa.

Chen Yang was almost falling asleep.

"Chen Yang, I didn’t expect you’d collaborate with Uncle Dai; that’s wonderful," Li Han said, holding Dai Annie’s hand and looking at Chen Yang opposite her.

Chen Yang perked up and smiled, "Haha, it’s fate. Had I known you knew each other, I might have collaborated with Boss Dai sooner."

There was a teasing element in Chen Yang’s words, and Li Han gave a slight smile.
