Chapter 529: 492 Lu Family Gathering Together (2 more Chapters)
The next day at nine o’clock, Tang Su had only just woken up. Last night, Lu Han had intended to let her rest well, but after sleeping for just over an hour, Tang Su suddenly woke up.
Upon waking, Tang Su was groggy and her mind was a blank, not knowing where she was for quite a while.
Her confused and adorable appearance made Lu Han’s heart flutter, and he could not resist teasing his soft and tender wife for quite some time.
Eventually, Tang Su grew tired and slept even more soundly.
Knowing that guests were arriving today, she had specifically set an alarm, but she ended up not hearing it at all.
By the time Tang Su woke up, Lu Han was no longer by her side.
Tang Su got out of bed to wash up by herself. When she came out of the washroom, Lu Han was there, as if he had installed a surveillance camera; he had reappeared in the room, waiting for her.
The second Tang Su saw Lu Han, her cheeks turned red involuntarily.
Just now, while washing her face and looking in the mirror, she had seen the marks that Lu Han had left on her neck. There were not just on her neck but also on her chest, and other places on her body as well.
Last night, there had indeed been a period when she was sleeping in a daze, not knowing up from down.
However, she vividly remembered every detail of being cherished by Lu Han.
Lu Han was very enthusiastic last night and slowly tormented her for a long, long time; it was only after she couldn’t stand it any longer and begged him that he finally relented.
Afterward, he even said that she needed to exercise more, as she couldn’t handle even a little while.
Tang Su was somewhat speechless; what did that have to do with exercising? It was clearly because he...
Lu Han came over, wrapped his arms around Tang Su, and kissed her on the face, "Why didn’t you sleep a little longer?"
"I’m awake. Did you turn off my seven o’clock alarm?" Tang Su asked knowingly.
"Mhm," Lu Han admitted generously. "With yesterday’s exercise, sleeping till seven isn’t enough for you."
Tang Su: "..."
Thank you for understanding me so well.
"I made glutinous rice wine soup and poached eggs. Come and try it," Lu Han said with a smile.
Only then did Tang Su smell the rich aroma of the glutinous rice wine in the room, a scent so strong that she had completely ignored it just now.
She was indeed very focused on reminiscing about everything from last night.
"You made it?" Tang Su was surprised.
"Yeah, is it that hard?" Lu Han raised his eyebrows.
Tang Su shook her head.
"The cooks at home can’t make it. Dad taught me. He said that during winter, especially over the New Year period, you love to have this for breakfast," Lu Han expressed his gratitude for Tang Shengyi’s teachings.
"Thank you," Tang Su was moved.
"I’m your husband. Whatever I do for you is only right. There’s no need to say thank you. If you really feel grateful, you could..."
"I’m hungry."
Knowing what Lu Han was about to say, Tang Su didn’t give him the chance to finish his sentence. Right after speaking, she dashed towards her poached egg.
Lu Han stood there and just smiled.
You can run from the monk, but not from the temple. After Tang Su finished her breakfast, Lu Han, wanting to taste the wine-flavored glutinous rice soup, embraced Tang Su and kissed her for a long, long time on the sofa.
Tang Su’s lips were almost swollen from his kisses. When doing her makeup, Tang Su didn’t need to apply any colored lipstick; her lips were already seductively red. She simply applied some colorless lip balm, just to moisturize the skin.

When the couple came downstairs, the guests had already arrived.
Tang Su finally met Lu Han’s cousins, and among them, Qin Wanwan was a familiar face. When she had last visited, she had encountered Qin Wanwan by chance in the park.
Qin Wanwan was also an art student, and her whole demeanor was a perfect match for the arts.
Lu Han and Lu Zhu belonged to the same generation as Qin Wanwan’s mother, making Qin Wanwan the junior of the family and also the youngest of their generation.
So, when they saw her coming downstairs with Lu Han, those that suddenly stood up, appearing even older than her, were all Lu Han’s juniors.
That... made them her juniors too.
"Come here, Tang Su, let Mom introduce you," Bai Wei said, pulling Tang Su over, with Lu Han following.
"This is Lu Han’s eldest brother Lu Jiayou and your sister-in-law Hu Haiqin."
"Eldest brother and sister-in-law, happy New Year," Tang Su greeted.
"Happy New Year, sister-in-law. Here’s a little something from us, wishing you and Lu Han a joyous marriage," the couple said as they stood up and handed over two large red envelopes.
"Thank you, eldest brother and sister-in-law," Tang Su said. She was really embarrassed.
Wealthy people are different; the red envelopes were truly generous, enough to make her hands soft holding them all.
"You’re welcome."
"This is your second brother Lu Mingzhe and your second sister-in-law Lin Xian."
"Second brother and sister-in-law, happy New Year."
"Happy New Year, sister-in-law," they both greeted. Like the couple before them, they gave Tang Su two large red envelopes, wishing her and Lu Han a joyous marriage.
The four red envelopes were all thick, and Tang Su’s hands couldn’t wrap around them. There was a lot of money inside, enough to almost burst the envelopes.
Bai Wei gave Lu Han a stern look, "Have some awareness and hold these for your wife."
What was he even doing there?
"Oh."
After being scolded, Lu Han suddenly became a bit sheepish and reached out to take them.
This amused everyone around, but the younger ones dared not laugh out loud. They just grinned widely.
As for the cousins of Lu Han, they openly laughed out loud.
Last came Lu Qingtang and her husband Qin Mufan. Bai Wei introduced, "This is your third sister Lu Qingtang and your brother-in-law Qin Mufan."
"Third sister, brother-in-law, happy New Year."
"Happy New Year, sister-in-law. This is from me and your brother-in-law, wishing you and Lu Han eternal love and a lifelong companionship," Lu Qingtang spoke while Qin Mufan, standing silently beside her, didn’t even echo his wife’s wish, remaining quite aloof.
"Thank you, third sister, brother-in-law." Although Qin Mufan was not much of a talker, Tang Su still included him in her thanks, after all, they were family.
"You’re welcome."
Bai Wei told them to sit and urged them to feel at home, and they sat down as told.
When it was time for the juniors to greet, Bai Wei sat Tang Su down, "You juniors, haven’t you come to greet your little uncle and auntie yet? Also, with your little uncle and auntie’s wedding imminent, shouldn’t you show some initiative, aside from Wanwan who doesn’t work?
"We have, Granny Bai," they chorused in unison.
Then, from oldest to youngest, they came to greet Tang Su one by one, and each presented their gifts.
Being called ’auntie’ and ’sister-in-law’ by people her age, Tang Su’s responses were not that natural at first. However, encouraged by Bai Wei, when Qin Wanwan came to offer her New Year greetings and wishes, Tang Su responded more familiarly.
As the youngest and a junior, Tang Su instinctively wanted to give Qin Wanwan a red envelope, but all the envelopes she had were just received. It wasn’t that she couldn’t regift, but to do so in front of those who had given them would be inappropriate.
Having come back late the night before, Tang Su secretly chastised herself for not being better prepared. This was truly awkward.
Just as Tang Su was about to seek help from Lu Han, Bai Wei pulled out a large red envelope from her bag, "Wanwan, this is your little auntie’s New Year red envelope for you. Take it and study hard."
"Thank you, little auntie, thank you Granny Bai," Qin Wanwan happily replied.
"Thank you, Mom," Tang Su said, quietly expressing her gratitude to Bai Wei while others were distracted.
"Nonsense," Bai Wei laughed.
