Lu Han entered the room as Tang Su was aerating the red wine. She had bought this wine rack on a whim during her leisurely strolls through the shops, having instantly liked it upon seeing it.

Afterward, she handed the bouquet back to Lu Han, "Then, Mr. Lu, could you please help me put the flowers in a vase? I’m about to cook the steaks. The pasta is already done and sitting in cold water. By the time you’re done with the flowers, we can pretty much enjoy our feast."

"You’ve been hard at work all day. Leave the steak to me; I know how to cook it. You should go ahead and arrange the roses."

"No need, you’ve also had a long day. I wasn’t busy all day; Sun Qing brought me takeout for lunch, and those other things, I had them purchased on my behalf."

"I just did a little decorating. Go take a seat and light a candle."

"I’m afraid of parasites in undercooked meat, so I usually go for well done, though it doesn’t taste as good that way."

"No worries, I’ll have mine well done too."

"Alright."

Tang Su confidently began cooking the steaks, using butter for flavor. As soon as the quality steaks hit the pan, the distinct aroma of beef burst forth.

When plating, Tang Su drizzled on some black pepper sauce.

Worried that one piece wouldn’t be enough for Lu Han, she cooked him two, along with a heart-shaped fried egg, the yolk still wobbly, cooked to perfection.

She presented the steaks with practiced ease, also preparing two bowls of fruit salad.
