Chapter 448: 415 Lu Han: I didn’t invite you guys, now get lost (1 more update)
"Yeah, Tang Su, you’ve always been in such good shape, isn’t it because you’re in love? I’m in love too, my boyfriend is parking, he’ll be here any moment."
Jiang Shanshan had come fully prepared, so no matter how sharp Tang Su’s questions were, or how unexpected, she wasn’t fazed.
After all, her life had already hit rock bottom. The fact that she dared to step out of the sanitarium’s room meant she feared nothing.
Moreover, she had found someone to deal with them. In Hua City, it wasn’t only Longmen who called the shots.
After all, society is developing, and there will always be a younger generation rising, right?
The Luo Family was this rising force, and she had turned to Mr Luo, that insane man’s top henchman. He was lecherous, and she was beautiful.
Since ancient times, men have had to conquer everything to rule the world, but women are different. What a woman wants, she only needs to conquer the man who can give it to her.
Jiang Shanshan had always understood this principle.
Lu Han was an accident in her life. Even if Lu Han had nothing, she would have been willing to spend the effort and time to conquer him. Yet, she hadn’t expected Lu Han to be such a tough nut to crack.
She couldn’t conquer him, yet Tang Su got him with ease.
Pretty funny, but she just couldn’t accept it.
She wasn’t any less attractive than Tang Su.
Lu Han’s choice of Tang Su over her was a slap in her face. She wasn’t one to give up over mere pride, no matter what.
Soon, Mr Luo’s top henchman, Luo Biao, arrived.
The broad and muscular man was covered in tattoos; he clearly wasn’t someone to mess with.
When Luo Biao arrived, he rudely pulled Jiang Shanshan into his embrace. Her delicate and soft body was quite to his taste.
But a brute is still a brute. His rough movements hurt Jiang Shanshan, yet he had no clue, acting as if she was his woman and entitled to her.
Jiang Shanshan felt the pain down to her bones as Luo Biao’s muscle mass slammed against her. She slightly furrowed her brows and pushed back the tears that had formed from the pain.
"Let me introduce you, this is my boyfriend, Brother Biao, and these are my former colleagues Lu Han and his wife Tang Su, along with all my other former colleagues in there."
"Hmm, hello," Luo Biao said, glancing at Lu Han before his gaze fixed firmly on Tang Su.
Tang Su felt deeply uncomfortable under the scorching scrutiny of a man in public, but still, she didn’t back down.
With Lu Han by her side, she felt a deep sense of safety.
Even though Longyi said this man named Luo Biao was trustworthy, Lu Han was still not pleased with him staring so blatantly at his wife.
He stepped forward, perfectly blocking the man’s view of Tang Su.
"Have you had your fill?" Lu Han asked with a heavy voice, casting a glance at Luo Biao, and then turned his sharp gaze straight to the beaming Jiang Shanshan.
This woman, it seems, the previous lessons weren’t profound enough.
She dares to mess with this kind of man?
"Brother Biao, our Doctor Lu gets rather jealous, you see. It’s not proper for you to look at someone else’s wife like that," Jiang Shanshan said hypocritically.
"Heh, who cares?" Luo Biao snorted coldly, dismissing them through his nostrils.
Lu Han’s face darkened on the spot.
"We didn’t invite you. Please leave immediately," Lu Han said angrily. He didn’t even want to say leave but went directly to telling them to "roll."
That included Jiang Shanshan. It was his turf, and he wouldn’t let them in, even if Jiang Shanshan claimed to be an old colleague.
"What did you just say? Who gave you the guts to talk to me like that?" Luo Biao stretched out his stubby, thick finger, pointing right at Lu Han’s nose.
Seeing that everything was about to spiral out of control, Tang Su grabbed Lu Han, not wanting to let him get involved in a fight.
Jiang Shanshan understood Tang Su’s concern. Her purpose for bringing Luo Biao today was not to create a scene, but rather a simple one – she wanted Luo Biao to commit Tang Su’s face to memory.
To her, dealing with Tang Su was the only way to quench the hatred in her heart. As for Lu Han, she did hate him for not reciprocating her feelings, but this hatred stemmed from love.
The more she hated Lu Han, the more she loved him.
She couldn’t bear to see Lu Han get beaten up.
"That’s enough, Brother Biao," cooed Jiang Shanshan as she tried to persuade Luo Biao, "Since we’re not welcome here, let’s just go. You were right. Not every occasion is suitable for your presence. Let’s leave; it was my lack of consideration."
As she spoke, Jiang Shanshan gave Luo Biao a meaningful look.
Luo Biao took the hint and decided to back off, thinking it was due to her charm.
After they left the hotel and got back into the car, Jiang Shanshan pushed away Luo Biao’s wandering hands. This man hadn’t yet accomplished the task she required of him, yet she had already had to fend off his unwelcome advances.
She had told him before, only if he succeeded in kidnapping Tang Su would she willingly become his woman; that was their deal.
"Not letting me touch you, huh? Jiang Shanshan, aren’t you afraid I’ll lose interest in you?" Luo Biao, not offended by being pushed away, stroked his chin, eyeing Jiang Shanshan with a particularly lewd gaze.
His eyes seemed to strip Jiang Shanshan naked, seeing right through her.
The embarrassment of their first meeting surged back. Jiang Shanshan, fighting the urge to vomit, stared back at Luo Biao. "Brother Biao, you’re not that kind of man, are you? Besides, everyone..."
While speaking, Jiang Shanshan fought back her nausea and pressed herself against Luo Biao’s corpulent body, her skin crawling with disgust.
Because of this, her hatred for Tang Su intensified. Everything she was currently enduring was because of Tang Su. So, she had to make sure to repay Tang Su with every disgusting thing she had been subjected to, and soon.
It would be very soon. Tang Su, just you wait.
"Alright, since I promised you, I’ll keep my word. I won’t touch you before I finish the job, alright?"
"You’re a real man, Brother Biao. By the way, did you memorize her looks?"
"I did."
"Good, then let me treat Brother Biao to a feast, to thank you for your chivalrous help."
"Ha, you’ve got the words all wrong. This ain’t about chivalry, it’s about abetting a tyrant. If I lose years of my life for this, I’ll get them back from you. Don’t worry, when I do a job, I never come out at a loss."
"..."
Jiang Shanshan’s face flushed red and then pale. She probably hadn’t expected such a brute to know so many idiomatic expressions.
Abetting a tyrant?
Did he think she was a bad person?
What about people like him?
What they did was nothing short of utterly heartless, wasn’t it?
Dare they blame her?
If there were no such people as them, there would be no employers like her, right?
There was demand and thus a market, and where there was a market, there were transactions.
Between them, it was merely a deal struck.
Tang Su had stolen her man, and she didn’t even fear a shortened lifespan for vengeance. She was merely giving the vile Tang Su a taste of her own medicine. Why should the heavens reduce her life for that?
