Paranoid Doctor Only Loves Me
Chapter 442 - 409 Ouyang Jingjing, Stop Provoking Lu Han (1st Update)

Chapter 442: 409 Ouyang Jingjing, Stop Provoking Lu Han (1st Update)

Ouyang Jingjing bought mala roast duck, which she had never tried before. While walking around, she was enticed by the delicious smell from a street vendor and learned it was one of Hua City’s local dishes.

Unable to resist the enthusiastic sales pitch of the vendor, she bought a portion.

Not daring to go for too spicy, she only ordered a mildly spicy one to taste.

Then she also bought some non-spicy braised dishes, scooped up servings of white rice for three, and, under the guise of joining them for lunch, she pressed the doorbell of Tang Su’s house.

She had seen their marriage certificate in Lu Han’s friend circle.

A normal person would probably not bother them too much at this time, or even quietly back away.

However, Ouyang Jingjing was never the normal type, and her years abroad, mixing with different people, made her feel that a marriage certificate was not as sacred and significant as the Chinese think.

A marriage certificate could only hold those who register for it; it couldn’t restrain someone like her, who had studied abroad, with advanced thinking and love above all else.

Throughout the meal, regardless of how cold Lu Han’s expression was, Ouyang Jingjing didn’t mind at all, seemingly growing bolder in the face of setbacks.

Moreover, she grew increasingly familiar with Tang Su.

In the end, even Tang Su herself could hardly stand it anymore.

But she couldn’t disrupt Lu Han’s plan.

And, she wanted to see why Jiang Shanshan never learned her lesson, failing to heed the consequences of her self-imposed misfortune, right?

After lunch, Ouyang Jingjing took her leave.

Lu Han cleaned up the house, while Tang Su nestled on the sofa, browsing on her phone.

Just as Tang Su was hesitating whether to ask Long Siyan for advice, Long Siyan sent her a WeChat message, "Tang Su, Longyi said someone is looking to cause trouble for you and Doctor Lu, but don’t worry, I’ve asked Longliu and Longjiu to protect you in secret."

"I just wanted to inform you, so you can be prepared."

Tang Su didn’t expect Long Siyan to be so thoughtful and was grateful, "Thank you, Siyan. Once this is over, Lu Han and I will treat you and Longyi to dinner. How about a double date?"

"Sure, I hope by then, Longyi will agree to be my boyfriend," Long Siyan replied.

"What? He hasn’t agreed yet?" Tang Su asked, puzzled.

In Tang Su’s eyes, Long Siyan was beautiful and well-behaved, with a gentle temperament, the epitome of a perfect girlfriend.

Perhaps Long Siyan wasn’t perfect in others’ eyes, but she believed Longyi wouldn’t find flaws in her.

After all, they had known each other for many years.

"He’s just like that, and I don’t want to pressure him too much," Siyan said.

"Siyan, you can’t think that way. Sometimes, men need to be pushed," Tang Su advised, speaking from experience.

While Tang Su’s own experience in this area wasn’t extensive, she had seen and written a lot, thus holding her own views on matters of the heart.

"I’ll try my best," Siyan resolved.

"Go for it," Tang Su encouraged.

"Thanks, Tang Su."

"You’re welcome."

"Do you want to take an afternoon nap?" Lu Han finished tidying up and sat on the sofa, pulling Tang Su to sit on his lap.

He knew Tang Su hadn’t rested well last night, as they had been up most of the night.

"Yes, that sounds good," Tang Su agreed with a nod.

"Let’s go."

Lu Han then carried her directly into the bedroom.

So, on this rare winter afternoon in Hua City, the two slipped back into bed again.

It was only natural for newlyweds to be cozy in bed, totally justified.

What set them apart from other newlyweds was that while others could go all the way, they could only fool around a little, indulge superficially without the pleasure of full satisfaction.

That night, they slept in each other’s arms until it was dark outside.

When he woke up, Tang Feng was holding Little Douding, waiting on their family’s sofa for nearly an hour.

Tang Feng was relieved they had gotten their marriage certificate and hadn’t changed the door code; otherwise, he would not have been able to enter and would have had to disturb the tenants downstairs.

Now, that would have really been embarrassing.

"Big brother, why did you come over?" Tang Su asked, rubbing her sleepy eyes.

Having slept all afternoon, she still felt incredibly drowsy and had no desire to get up if not for the hunger in her belly.

Lu Han was tidying the bed in the bedroom when he heard Tang Su’s question and hurried out of the room. Before Lu Han could speak, Tang Feng pointed at Little Douding, "Mom asked me to bring this little guy over to you. We didn’t know when or where you’d come to pick him up."

"..."

Tang Su swallowed awkwardly several times; she honestly forgot about picking up Little Douding today and quickly hugged the little guy who had already snuggled over, "Have you been a good kitty these past couple of days?"

Little Douding: "Meow, meow..."

It had been very well-behaved.

Hearing Little Douding’s meows melted Tang Su’s heart even further, growing fonder of it.

Having not seen it for a few days, Tang Su couldn’t bear to let go.

"Big brother, have you had dinner yet? If not, how about we go out to eat together?" Lu Han asked.

"Sure, what are we eating?" Tang Feng didn’t stand on ceremony with the two of them. When he left, it wasn’t dark yet, so naturally, it wasn’t time for dinner yet.

Today his godmother moved, and in the evening, his parents took Little Douding to him and then went to Zhao Xinlan’s new place for a meal.

He could have gone with them, but Tang Shengyi, feeling sorry for his daughter, sent him, the big brother, over to his sister’s place on behalf of the family.

Actually, Tang Feng knew his presence here was not welcomed; the newlywed couple was in the throes of love.

He wasn’t that oblivious to social cues.

He had wanted to cling to his parents, but Tang Shengyi had said, "We’re visiting elders; being the younger one, could you be comfortable staying with them?"

That afternoon, he had even driven his grandparents back home.

After doing so much, Lu Han inviting him for dinner shouldn’t mind having him as a third wheel, right?

"Wife, what do you want to eat?" Lu Han turned and asked Tang Su.

"How about we go have skewers? I feel like eating barbecue," Tang Su’s eyes sparkled.

During her period, Tang Su had peculiar cravings and loved to eat spicier food.

She knew it wasn’t good to always eat like this, and she didn’t always do so, but occasionally she couldn’t help craving strong flavors.

Fortunately, neither of the men objected.

"Order less chili pepper," the two men said in unison.

"YES SIR," Tang Su saluted.

Soon, the three of them left the house.

Across the way, Ouyang Jingjing peered through the peephole, watching the three enter the elevator, then her phone rang, and she walked to the living room to answer it. On the other end was Ouyang Chen.

"Ouyang Jingjing, where are you?" Ouyang Chen asked in a deep voice.

"At Lu Han’s place. Where else do you think I could be?"

"Wait for me, I’m coming over right now," Ouyang Chen said, ready to hang up.

"Sorry, I’m about to leave and won’t be home. I have to work tomorrow and won’t have time to entertain you," Ouyang Jingjing declined right away.

"Ouyang Jingjing, stop messing around with Lu Han; you are not Ruirui."

"Of course, I’m not Ouyang Rui. It’s just that your precious little sister has never won Lu Han’s true heart. As her big brother, don’t you feel sorry for her?"

"All I want to do is fulfill her unfinished wishes. Ouyang Chen, mind your own business."
