Then, Lu Han drove off, exiting through the west gate, which ran in a straight line parallel to the main entrance and was specifically meant to facilitate the entry and exit of the school’s faculty and their vehicles.

The reason Lu Han could smoothly enter was because he had invoked Song Mingxiu’s name.

Not long after they left through the west gate, Ke Jie’s car followed, with the two vehicles heading in tandem towards the buffet restaurant.

The entire dining experience, the environment, and the atmosphere were quite pleasant.

Tang Su put her phone away. Lu Han, ever the gentleman, was sitting next to her, and with her phone’s large screen and Lu Han’s good eyesight, he would’ve easily read her messages had he looked—but Lu Han did not peek at all.

"What’s up, Tang Su? Is your family calling you back?" Liu Ting, ever the thoughtful dorm leader, habitually noticed these details.

Not long after Tang Su hung up, Lu Han’s phone began to ring, and seeing Su Ruoan’s number flashing on the screen, they both were surprised.

She hadn’t taken the initiative to tell Su Ruoan that she was with Lu Han, so why was she calling Lu Han now?

"No need, Tang Su’s dad will drive me there. Let’s just meet at the teacher’s house. I think I’ll go over at nine, should get there around nine thirty."

Seeing that Su Ruoan didn’t ask anything further and ended the call, Tang Su breathed a huge sigh of relief.
