Once he had finished speaking, Ye Ge lowered his head to look at Nan Feng, unsure of when she had fallen asleep.

Long San got up early and, when he arrived outside Nan Feng’s room, found that Lu Jianxi had risen even earlier and had already been there for some time.

Long San wrapped his cloak tighter around himself and walked over to Lu Jianxi, smiling, "Lady Lu must have not slept all night, right? Even though you’ve applied some rouge, you haven’t concealed the dark circles around your eyes, you look quite haggard."

Lu Jianxi looked at the smiling but still chilly Long San and replied with a smile, "Aren’t you the same? You look even weaker than yesterday after a night of wakefulness. You must be quite worried about Lady Nan Feng, right?"

"My body has always been like this," Long San said with a smile. "But it seems the two of us are both people forsaken by the horizon. My worries have been seen through by you, and yours by me. It seems we will have topics to talk about in the future."

Lu Jianxi looked at Long San, "Common topics? To discuss how we both fell for those inside and how we were rejected?"

"Then why did you come all this way?" Lu Jianxi asked.

Both of them burst into laughter at that moment.
