Just as they were about to drag the wolves down the mountain, Xia Dabao saw several wolf cubs dart out of the den. Seeing their father and mother dead, the cubs couldn’t help but howl.

"Dad, what about these little wolves?" Xia Dabao felt a bit of pity.

"Let them be," Ye Ge said.

"Alright, these animals can’t be tamed. We’ll leave them for our next trip into the mountains. It’s no fun if we kill them all now."

"There are plenty of wolves in these mountains, we won’t run out. Let’s go."
