Counting her fingers, Sophie wondered where she should go to have fun in the next few days. She couldn’t possibly stay cooped up in the hotel by herself...

Sophie woke up early, freshened up, and opened her suitcase.

She hadn’t expected this to be a vacation; her suitcase had been packed by the servants.

Donning a sun hat and sunglasses, she left the room.

Sophie approached him. "Did Thomas Shannon tell you guys to follow me?"

"Yes."

Sophie smiled. Excellent. She reached out and took the arm of the nearest man in black. "Today, you’re my male companion. Let’s go."

"Maniac, let go," the man in black said, not daring to act inappropriately towards the Young Master’s woman.

Sophie didn’t let go. Instead, she threatened, "Don’t move. Be good and cooperate with me. Otherwise, I’ll tell Thomas Shannon you made improper advances toward me while he was away."

The other men in black standing nearby watched with expressionless faces. Her captivating eyes, tinged with amusement, swept over their faces. "Get your mobile phones out. Remember to take photos for us later."

Sophie ignored the sympathy in their eyes, still holding the arm of the man in black beside her, and walked downstairs.

Sophie, who was wearing a mask, attracted many curious gazes.

She remained unperturbed, ordered breakfast, and began to eat with the man in black.

She twirled some spaghetti onto her fork and held it in front of the man in black. "Open your mouth."

Sophie pouted. That was exactly what she wanted! For him to be angry! Didn’t he just leave her here all alone? She could have fun by herself. If he wouldn’t accompany her, plenty of others would.

"I’ll count to three. If you don’t open your mouth, I’ll kiss you."

The man in black was genuinely afraid she would do something crazy like kiss him; the Young Master would never forgive him!

Reluctantly, the man in black opened his mouth.

Sophie wasn’t satisfied. She called to another man in black, "Get your phone ready. Find a good angle and take a photo of us."

Seeing that the man in black she’d asked to take photos remained unmoved, Sophie took out her own mobile phone. She approached the man she was feeding, leaned her head very close, and said, "Open your mouth."

One hand held the fork with noodles, the other held her mobile phone.

The instant the man in black opened his mouth, a smile touched her lips. CLICK.

She had successfully snapped a selfie!

She glanced at the photo. The angle and lighting were nearly perfect.

Quite satisfied, she returned to her seat, hastily ate a few bites of breakfast, and then put down her knife and fork.

After breakfast, she dragged the unfortunate man in black off to have more fun.

From morning till afternoon, and from afternoon till evening.

Finally, exhausted from her day of "fun," Sophie returned to the hotel.

Although he was nothing compared to Thomas Shannon—not even one part in ten thousand—he was, at least, a resolute and cold man.

His physique was impeccable. In a word: awesome!

She found Thomas Shannon’s number and sent him a few carefully selected photos, along with a text message.
