Minimus Hart sat in front of the dressing table, meticulously applying skincare products with one hand and holding a mobile phone in the other.

"Has the maniac woken up?"

The tone rose at the end, slightly revealing surprise.

The man in black replied honestly, "Yes, the maniac has already awoken."

"Are you sure she’s conscious? Or is she still acting mad?"

"From the looks of it, she doesn’t seem mad. She’s conscious now."

Minimus Hart raised her eyes to look at herself in the mirror, her lips curled into a smile. "Since she’s no longer a threat to everyone’s safety, let her out."

"Yes."

The man in black opened the heavy great iron gate, setting Sophie Sullivan free.

Upon leaving the dark cell, Sophie Sullivan took a deep breath of fresh air. She was finally out.

Dragging her heavy body, she slowly headed back to the ancient castle.

Under the astonished and guarded gaze of the servants, she didn’t look around as she went upstairs and straight to Thomas Shannon’s bedroom.

Upon returning to the bedroom, the first thing she did was rush into the bath chamber.

Shutting the door and leaning against the wall, she raised her arm to find a tiny needle hole.

Her eye color darkened; she removed her dirty clothes and began to take a bath.

After her bath and changing into clean clothes, Sophie Sullivan headed straight to the medical office.

She wanted to draw her own blood and test her body for any hidden issues.

There was a doctor on duty 24 hours a day in the medical office. Seeing Sophie Sullivan arrive, the doctor was a bit puzzled. "Is it a sore throat?"

"No." Sophie Sullivan didn’t say explicitly, only that she was feeling unwell and asked the doctor to take blood samples.

Considering the factors in her body, the doctor didn’t hesitate and immediately arranged for a blood draw.

After the blood was drawn, it would be tested.

This process would take quite a while.

"Doctor, I’ll come back tomorrow to see the results." Sophie Sullivan bid the doctor goodbye and left the medical office.

That night, Sophie Sullivan had a good sleep till daybreak.

The next day, she skipped breakfast and went back to the medical office.

Even the doctor was surprised at the results she received.

The mysterious factor in her body had disappeared.

The doctor couldn’t believe it, pressing her on whether she had taken anything. Sophie Sullivan’s answers were all negative.

"That’s really strange... It just got better on its own?"

Getting the answer she wanted, Sophie Sullivan didn’t linger. It seemed her suspicions were correct.

It was indeed Minimus Hart.

My ’madness’ was connected to Minimus Hart.

Recollecting the events, Minimus Hart only had one opportunity to act against me—the last time I tried to escape.

I was knocked unconscious and left in the park.
