Chapter 195: Poison (9), John’s Plan
Chapter 195: Poison (9), John’s Plan
"What?!" Minera shouted in disbelief.
From her Hell Paradise Realm, she saw that all the chaos she had caused had stopped. People were suddenly cured!
[ It looks like the Rune of that guy is quite powerful. More powerful than our Rune. It has reality-bending powers to a certain extent. ]
"So are you saying we won’t be able to get him?"
[ Not yet, I suppose. ]
"Tsk. Screw it. It’s time to leave." Minera snorted, her eyes icy. "I’ll have to increase my assets to get him. Preferably, I should make a slave of another rune holder somewhere else."
[ Indeed. ]
"But not before completely exploiting that poison. If we can get him now, we have to try."
[ Start. ]
...
John had just gathered the leaders of all forces in the sky on his island after curing and was resisting the poison.
He didn’t beat around the bush anymore. He created large speakers that could amplify the voice far away to make sure all powerhouses heard it.
"I am not going to help prevent the calamity."
John’s voice spread far and wide.
The Sovereign-rank leaders and other Tamers of all forces present on the island were startled.
Did they hear wrong?
"I never planned to do that."
"Mr. Sirius...w-what do you mean by that?" Sovitra frowned.
The damage on the frontlines was already a lot.
Many Tamers had killed each other, monsters went on a rampage under their commands, and it was a mess.
"I mean exactly what I said," John said, his voice calm. But he was trying his best to suppress the poison that was getting stronger fast.
John’s initial plan was to save those who wanted to be saved from both the humans and the demons.
If he wanted to do that, he had to announce that now.
"I can save people. But if I save you, you will have to live under my rules. That means...treating your Pet Monsters as your family."
John’s eyes were ablaze as he spoke, his will strong, not letting the poison affect his gaze.
"I can take you all to a safe place, and once you are there, you will have to follow the rules. There is no denying that. And if you fail to comply, I will not execute you...until I make you ask for it."
Everyone’s heart turned cold.
"You don’t have much time to choose. And I know most of you will want to survive, but I will be able to tell who is sincere and who is not. So reform with your heart in the next five hours because calamity is approaching soon."
However, those who came from the above could easily leave, be it Sovereign-rank, Emperor-rank, or lower. The Doom Veil of the world won’t stop them.
But those born in this world won’t be able to leave unless they are Sovereign-rank.
Naturally, after hearing the words of Mr. Sirius, some Sovereign-rank Tamers of demons who descended from above quickly took off.
"I’m leaving."
"Me too. Fuck this calamity. We will survive if we leave."
However, just as they flew up a thousand meters high, everyone saw a flash of light streaking past each of them one by one as they dropped like flies.
John put away his gun, his voice cold as it spread far and wide. "Your lives are mine. I just saved you all from hell. If you had died while under that virus, your souls would have been refined."
"But I spared you that fate to give you a choice."
"Accept death or reform."
"You have five hours."
John sat down cross-legged at the center of the island and activated a radar on the island using Molding Essence.
If it detects anyone flying up, John would know and he would shoot them down with impunity using his most lethal force bullet, and there was no defense here that could stop it.
"Mr. Sirius...we have made our decision." The group of Ouroboros Hall, Razorshade Syndicate, Dreamforged Guild, and Duraian family approached John, standing before him.
John opened his eyes, his eyes slightly trembling as they were averted to the females in the group, but they stopped trembling as he exerted his willpower.
’Fuck you, bitch!’
He could feel that bitch trying to make things difficult for him.
"Your decision must be sincere." John swept his glance at the group.
"Yes, Mr. Sirius."
Everyone somberly nodded.
John’s eyes flickered.
Well, they were not lying according to his soul sensitivity.
John didn’t want the new people on those two islands he already had, so he decided to upgrade Monster Paradise by spending 100 million Molding Essence.
At level 3, Monster Paradise gained two new islands.
One 500 kilometers radius big, and another 100 kilometers radius big.
The 500-kilometer radius island was like the first island.
But the 100-kilometer radius island had a benefit.
Much like how he could grow custom resources on the resource island, he could grow ores, minerals, and metals on the Forging Island.
’Guess I’ll become a king for real.’
To change the world, he needed to change the people, and he could start that from here.
"Go and gather your people down."
Suddenly, John looked up as he saw more demons flying up, this time wearing their armors and activating their defense skills and techniques.
But those were useless if John affected the space around them.
In the next moment, he inverted the gravity around the space surrounding each of them and applied accelerated Chronolight attributes power by consuming some soul energy.
Instantly, they fell down like shooting stars and smacked hard, embedding into the ground.
The impact shook them despite their defense, and they lost control.
And then came the bullets, curving out from the island and shooting at them.
Nihirius Eclipse Bloom.
Erased.
John’s Chronolight Mastery also reached level 5, becoming the highest level since he jumped two levels, from 3 to 5, in the last enlightenment.
The other four masteries were at level 4.
John recovered his soul energy instantly by using some Sovereign Essence Coins.
"We will gather our people right away."
The Tamers left.
The demon family heads glanced at each other, their hearts cold.
Two peak Sovereign-rank that tried to leave with full preparation were struck down.
They thought they were tougher, but it looks like Mr. Sirius’ combat power is enough to drop them like flies, despite them having higher stats.
’His attributes are crazy strong. What the fuck?’
’Do you think we should plan a large-scale escape? If the whole lot of us leave at once, there’s no way he can stop us.’
’Sovitra, your Mr. Sirius is not going to let us go. What’s the plan now?’
’Loving Monsters like a family? That’s fucking absurd. Let’s plan a large-scale escape.’
The demons on the island were discussing.
Sovitra looked at Mr. Sirius, her eyes showing uncertainty regarding this situation.
Meanwhile, John was trying his hardest to suppress the poison.
He had sent Azelis and others inside long ago, but could watch the things outside since there were already screens present at various spots long ago.
"He is fighting the poison..." Jibril bit her lips.
"But for how long?" Azelis frowned. "Chuthulos said it would come back stronger after he overcame it once."
"Should we tell him about what happened while he was sleeping?" Yuna looked at Jibril. "You can save him again."
"What are you all talking about?" Max scratched his head.
"Max, go and train or eat your fruits to get more enlightenment," Azelis calmly instructed him. "Leave other things to us."
"Okay. That sounds good to me." Max grinned.
Outside, John opened his eyes, and he kept himself stable after fighting off another burst of poison.
Waving his hand, he consumed 1.8 million Molding Essence as a giant gate appeared with black-purple starry fillings.
He created a gate that could automatically check if the person sincerely wished to treat their pet monsters as their family.
"Mr. Sirius. We will take our leave for now and come back with our decision," Sovitra said.
John nodded and closed his eyes.
The demons got off the island, and soon, they made a gathering at an estate.
Meanwhile, the people of Ouroboros and others arrived, alongside the forces of Brelial City.
Their people were gathered below, ready to accept Mr. Sirius’s proposal.
The leaders of the other seven forces were talking to each other.
On the island, the few Tamers of each force of Brelial city, and the other four forces who were ready to enter Mr. Sirius’ world, arrived.
John made the island descend. The gate he created was visible since it was a hundred meters tall and fifty meters wide.
"This gate," John said, his voice spreading far and wide. "It will automatically confirm whether you are serious about treating your Pet Monsters as your family. If you are not serious, you won’t be able to go through with it. If you are serious, you will enter a new world."
The gate was connected to another gate in a new 500-kilometer radius island.
John wanted to save as many people as possible, not just from here, but from the Gratar continent and Whelshwing continent both.
He was already focusing on the structures and capacity of this 500-kilometer radius island.
After asking the Rune and letting it do the calculation, John came to know that if he built tall apartments with high population density with advanced city planning, costing 137 million Molding Essence total, he would be able to pack roughly 20 billion people in there.
The total population of both the Welshwing continent and the Gratar continent was a little over 10 billion, so he at least had enough space.
He was going to take a setback in terms of Molding Essence, but with 80 million per day production, he found it good enough.
Naturally, he wasn’t going to freeload on all these people.
They were going to work for their living, and also pay tax to him in return for working in fields and other things to build a Kingdom for him, an ideal Kingdom.
And once inside, there was no defying him.
Naturally, he didn’t want to become a bad ruler or a tyrant to exploit them. That was stupid.
Happiness of people was important for development, and his aim was mutual benefit for everyone, while, of course, following the rule that Tamers must treat their pet monsters as family.
There would also be no crimes of any kind because, well, it was Monster Paradise, and he could set up things that would easily catch anyone who decided to be stupid and commit atrocities.
Soon, the people of the four forces of the Gratar continent and the five forces of Brelial city began entering the island under the guidance of Sovereign-rank Tamers.
A few people couldn’t enter among the crowds, but they tried again and again, resolving that they would treat their pet monsters as family, and managed to enter.
"Mr. Sirius, what about the people in other continents?"
"It’s also understandable if you...don’t have the means or space to do them."
The forces naturally had more people on the continent, and they wanted to save them if possible.
"I am going to save everyone, no worries. It’s just that your life will forever change after that. All I can guarantee is that I don’t wish bad for anyone who will follow the rules and will make sure everyone’s life is fulfilled while progressing towards the world that I envision."
Meanwhile...
At a concealed ground inside a barrier veil at an estate, the demon clan heads gathered in tight formation, their faces grim. Sovitra stood at the center, her arms crossed as whispers flew like blades.
"We’ll coordinate a mass exodus," murmured Elder Kezual. "If over ten thousand of us ascend at once, even he can’t shoot them all down."
"We’ll overload the radar. Split into groups and teleport randomly," another added.
Sovitra didn’t speak, her gaze distant.
"He saved us... but he won’t let us live as demons. That’s not survival—it’s surrender. Contact our Tamers of all ranks. Start coordinating the plan."
Their plan was set. In five hours, they would rise. All of them. Together.
