Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please!
Chapter 99 - 99 Why did I pass out

Chapter 99: Why did I pass out Chapter 99: Why did I pass out When the authoritatiave doctor gave the final conclusion, the three of them were all stunned.

“What? You’re saying there’s nothing wrong with my sister, she’s just asleep?” Amelia Wilson felt this joke was too cold.

“Yes, she is indeed asleep, and she won’t be long before she wakes up.”

The doctor spoke to them once again with an extremely confident tone giving them this result.

“Uhm…” Earl Carter suggested to Arnold Johnson, “How about we fly in a better doctor for another diagnosis?”

Arnold pursed his lips, moved them slightly and said, “Let’s wait for Victoria to wake up first.”

“My sister is just asleep?”

“My sis has no such problem”

“Could the doctor have made a misdiagnosis?”

“No, we can’t just wait like this. If she really has a problem, it would be a waste of time!”

Amelia Wilson muttered to herself while walking towards Victoria Garcia. Then, she reached out her hand under Victoria’s nose and found that her sister was actually still breathing.

Her heart finally stopped beating so fast.

Right after that, she realized that this breathing was just like someone who was asleep.

How could this be? She remembered that Victoria’s sleep quality wasn’t this strong.

“Let her sleep for a while; she might just be too tired,” Arnold spoke out.

Not even ten minutes after Amelia was taken away by Earl Carter, Victoria woke up.

As she opened her eyes, the first person she saw was Arnold, who was sitting by the bed holding her hand, and she couldn’t help but show a faint smile.

“Can you tell me what happened in the sea?”

Upon hearing this question, Victoria recalled her memory and found out that she had a scuffle with one of Harry Collins’ bodyguards in the sea, somehow she passed out.

As for why she passed out, she couldn’t remember at all.

“Where did the bodyguard hit you, making you pass out?”

Victoria shook her head and said, “I really don’t remember what happened.”

“When I carried you onto the speedboat and gave you CPR, were you conscious?”

She still shook her head.

Seeing Victoria’s reactions, Arnold felt that he might have been too nervous.

“Do you want to guess what the doctor said about you?”

“Did he say I was about to die?” Victoria lightly blinked her eyelashes, looking cute in that twinkling moment.

Arnold rarely showed a smile and said, “The doctor said you were just asleep.”

After saying this, Arnold did not forget to check the time, “You slept for exactly two hours.”

Victoria’s hands couldn’t help but touch her own face as she bashfully said, “I might have been too tired from swimming.”

At this moment, the glow of the setting sun passed through the window and shone on Victoria, making her look beautiful like gold gleaming in the sunlight.

Arnold leaned his head forward so that it was pressed tightly against hers.

Then, he hugged her body in his arms and whispered softly into her ear, “When you were unconscious, I finally realized what fear feels like.”

“With you here, nothing will happen to me.”

Victoria let him hold her tightly just like that.

The setting sun’s light was cast on their embracing bodies, warm and peaceful.
