“You ordered braised pork rice but didn’t eat it. It seems it’s not to your taste. I know a restaurant that makes authentic braised pork rice; it’s quite good. Do you want to try it?”

“I’m fine with anything, it’s up to you.” In Victoria’s view, what to eat wasn’t the most important thing.

Edward left the restaurant, and the heavy snow outside had stopped.

However, the weather at night was even colder.

Victoria tightened her coat and took out a large shawl to wrap herself up.

“I’m not afraid to treat you to a hundred servings, just afraid your stomach won’t be able to handle them.”

“Who said I’d eat them all at once? I’d finish them in a hundred separate meals if that’s okay.” Edward’s laughter deepened.

Victoria only chuckled and didn’t promise anything about the hundred servings of braised pork rice.

“Do you want to know what I heard on the phone just now?” Edward quickly changed the topic.

Victoria replied hesitantly, “I think it’s better not to share personal matters. In case it involves some company secrets, it’s not a good idea.”

“Actually, it has nothing to do with me, but it seems to have something to do with you?” Edward teased, “Want to hear?”
