“Tell me where you are, I’ll come find you now,” Victoria said urgently.

But Arnold didn’t want her to show up at this time because the Johnson family would probably be arriving soon. The reason they hadn’t come yet was that Grand Lady Johnson was undergoing testing; once they confirmed that there was no danger there, they would naturally come here.

“Don’t come over,” Arnold refused her.

“I’m at the hospital,” Arnold provided an explanation.

The man she loved was watching over another woman’s bedside, there was no way she could sleep.

“She collapsed in front of me. It was an accident, and I’m partly responsible for it. I hope you can understand,” Arnold spoke his true thoughts, not wanting to hide anything from Victoria or make her more suspicious.
