Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please!
Chapter 519 - 519 Its really just such a coincidence

Chapter 519: It’s really just such a coincidence Chapter 519: It’s really just such a coincidence Frank Johnson leaped forward to shield Evelyn Garcia from the bullet, leaving everyone astonished and terrified.

“Frank Johnson… Frank Johnson…” Evelyn Garcia screamed his name in shock.

Seeing the concern in Evelyn Garcia’s eyes, Frank Johnson felt the bullet wound was worthwhile, “I won’t die.”

“Don’t scare me! You are bleeding a lot!” Evelyn, seeing the fresh blood on her hands, was almost ready to faint.

The masked man, Zhao, trembled with the gun in his hand at that moment; he hadn’t expected such an outcome.

At that instant, a group stormed in from outside, quickly overpowering Zhao, the sniper, and another accomplice.

“Arnold Johnson!” cried Victoria Garcia, both scared and relieved.

“Are you hurt?” Arnold asked apprehensively.

Victoria shook her head, “Not me, but your niece and nephew are hurt. We need to get them to the hospital immediately.”

“Okay, I’ll arrange it,” Arnold assured her, his gaze falling on Edward Hernandez, who looked out of place.

“Young Master Hernandez, what a coincidence,” Arnold said calmly.

Edward Hernandez shrugged, saying both earnestly and sincerely, “Indeed, Young Master Johnson, it is quite a coincidence. I never expected to meet Miss Garcia, let alone experience such a thrilling episode with her.”

Victoria stood on the side, explaining, “If it weren’t for Edward Hernandez, I may not have seen you again.”

“I do owe you gratitude then, for saving my fiancée’s life. If there’s a future opportunity, I’ll surely repay this favor,” Arnold said, before adding, “However, there’s one thing I can’t quite understand. Could you tell me why you happened to be here, at this place, at this time? It’s inevitably suspicious to call it a coincidence or an accident, don’t you think?”

Edward Hernandez glanced at the two of them, clearly aware that they probably didn’t believe him.

“To tell the truth, I came to speculate on real estate,” Edward said, glancing at the unfinished building. “Indeed, this place isn’t that close to the Metropolis, but neither is it that far. Tempor City has nice air and a lot of potential tourist sites. We’ve got inside information from the government that, over the next five years, they plan to invest heavily in developing this area for tourism. Given this decision by the government, we can imagine that property prices here will at least double in five years. Hence, we decided to take our chances here, and this unfinished building is part of the project we’re considering.”

“You may wonder why we would select an unfinished project. Well, let me tell you, the government plans to establish a huge park over there, and the corresponding infrastructure will be built as well. The administrative center of Tempor City’s government may even be relocated here,” Edward sighed, adding, “Young Master Johnson, I have been completely upfront. In order to clear up this misunderstanding, I revealed all the inside information we know.”

Arnold Johnson was naturally aware of what Edward Hernandez had said, but his knowledge went even further. Therefore, he owed Edward a favor, “The Tempor City government office won’t be relocated here, but West City of Tempor City. If you’re interested, Young Master Hernandez, you could take a look at the land on the west side.”

In Authority Country, it’s never wrong to align with government policies no matter what you do. Arnold Johnson understood this, and so did Edward Hernandez.
