Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please!
Chapter 502 - 502 Here is your 4 back

Chapter 502: Here is your 4 back Chapter 502: Here is your 4 back Edward Hernandez seemed to know his place, but before leaving, he still couldn’t help but take several glances at the unconscious Victoria Garcia lying in the bed, obvious with his intentions.

Arnold Johnson felt a sudden surge of anger.

It wasn’t until Edward left that Arnold began to interrogate Leah Chester.

“What did you give Victoria?” Arnold asked.

Listening to Arnold’s cold voice, Leah was so scared that she didn’t dare to lift her head as she replied: “It’s just a small dose of Menghan Medicine, she will wake up after a short sleep.”

Arnold picked up the syringe next to him and looked at its contents. Unsure of what it was, he glanced once again at Leah sitting on the ground.

“What were you planning to inject Victoria with?” Arnold asked again.

Leah shook her head and said, “I don’t know.”

“Really? You don’t know?” Arnold’s eyes were so cold that Leah couldn’t help but shiver when she sneaked a peek.

Leah tried to control her emotions and tightly clasped her hands before slowly saying, “It’s a Stimulating Medicine.”

A Stimulating Medicine? That did sound quite plausible.

“You know I have been living with the Johnson family for so many years and everyone gets along well. I don’t want to leave, but when she appeared, you forced me to go. I don’t want to leave, and I can’t accept it. I have waited for you for so long, why can she get everything she wants while I suffer through endless torment and torture night after night,” Leah said in one breath.

She continued honestly, “So, I thought I would take this opportunity to ruin Victoria’s reputation. Once this matter becomes public, Victoria would never be able to receive your affection again, and she would be despised by everyone because, in front of the camera, she’s just a promiscuous bitch.”

It all made sense, fitting a woman’s logical thinking. However, Arnold asked: “If that’s the case, why didn’t we see the adulterer you arranged?”

Upon hearing Arnold’s question, Leah quickly replied, “The situation was exposed before it could continue, so the adulterer left without hearing from me, as was previously agreed.”

“Well, you continue making up more stories. I’ll listen for another two minutes before I decide whether to believe you,” Arnold said with obvious disbelief.

Feeling accused and wronged, Leah asked, “Why don’t you believe me? You weren’t like this before.”

“Did I believe you before, and did I treat you well?” Arnold asked in return.

Did Arnold ever believe her, or treat her well, before?

No! Absolutely not!

Everything was done willingly by her. She had clung to him and refused to let go. When Arnold got sick of her, he sent her to the Johnson family’s Old Villa.

Back then, she was excited and happy when he said those words, thinking that Arnold was finally acknowledging her in a roundabout way.

Deep down, she knew her status, but she didn’t care. She was fine with being a lover, a mistress, or a second wife, as long as she could stay by his side.

So many years had passed, and Leah finally realized that the “time-grinding” Arnold spoke of had only worn away her youth and her unrequited love.

Victoria’s appearance made it painfully clear that Arnold had never cared about her at all.
