Chapter 480 - 480 Victoria Garcias Scandal 4
Chapter 480: Victoria Garcia’s Scandal 4 Chapter 480: Victoria Garcia’s Scandal 4 Alexander Mitchell looked at Aubree Field, his eyes full of concern for Victoria Garcia, “Though the words may be true, I still cannot help but worry.”
“But if you encounter any danger on the road, or something happens, neither your family nor I will be at ease.” Although Aubree felt a little sad, she was more worried about Alexander’s safety.
Alexander, however, didn’t have the time to consider all this, for his mind was full of concern for Victoria. “I’ll drive the car back and have my driver pick you up here tomorrow morning.”
He could take risks, but he never thought of dragging Aubree into danger with him.
“Alexander, have you ever thought that Victoria has Arnold Johnson by her side now? She won’t see or know about everything you’re doing for her. Even if she does find out, will she come back to you?” Aubree couldn’t suppress her pain and cried, “Why are you so foolish?”
It has never been about calculating such matters in love. He loves her and only wants her to have a better life.
“Leah, let me escort you back to your room first.” Alexander avoided the topic.
Seeing his determination, Aubree didn’t try to persuade him anymore. However, she remained standing where she was, not moving.
“What’s wrong?” Alexander asked when he noticed she wasn’t following him.
Aubree firmly but gently said, “Since you’re leaving, I won’t stay here alone either. I’ll go with you.”
“No, it’s too dangerous on the road. You’re a girl, just stay here. Don’t go.” Alexander advised.
Aubree replied, “You know I’m a girl, don’t you worry about me if this place isn’t safe? What am I supposed to do all alone?”
“Don’t worry, this place is definitely safe. Although it’s a Country Leisure, it’s still quite decent. Moreover, we’re in Metropolis, so security is guaranteed.” Alexander explained seriously.
Aubree, of course, knew that, but she was just as worried about Alexander as he was about Victoria.
Even though they both knew there would be no result, he was foolish enough to be infatuated, and so was she.
“If you want me to stay, then you stay. If you leave, I won’t stay here alone.”
“Why are you so stubborn?” Alexander couldn’t help but feel a headache coming on.
Aubree laughed, “Aren’t you stubborn yourself?”
In some matters, they were both equally stubborn and adorable.
Alexander couldn’t persuade Aubree, and Aubree also couldn’t convince Alexander.
In the end, the two of them drove back to Metropolis together.
On the way back, heavy snow was falling, and the cold northern wind was blowing outside. Some roads had streetlights, while others were pitch black.
Aubree sat in the passenger seat and reminded Alexander whenever she felt his speed was too fast, “Don’t rush, this section of the road is uneven, and it’s snowing heavily. The road is slippery; drive slowly.”
Alexander, however, was eager to get back quickly. Yet, under Aubree’s supervision, he managed to control his speed. After all, if something happened with Aubree in the car, he would bear great responsibility, and most importantly, he didn’t want her to get hurt.
Seeing Alexander still taking care of her, Aubree felt a hint of warmth in her heart.
In such weather, inside such a car, and with Alexander by her side, she felt happy despite the certain danger. Being with him was enough for her.
For Aubree, that’s all that mattered.
