Chapter 412 - 412 Would you like to 4
Chapter 412: Would you like to? 4 Chapter 412: Would you like to? 4 Under the sunlight, Victoria Garcia laughed and ran with the autumn breeze lifting the hem of her dress and her hair. Occasionally, she looked back towards Arnold Johnson and the sky, shouting, “I can’t hear you!”
Arnold chased after her, loudly responding, “Victoria Garcia, I love you!”
Time seemed to slow down and speed up during their joyful chase.
When he finally caught her, Victoria laughed and fell into his arms, poking his chest as she asked playfully, “Are you really Arnold Johnson?”
“Of course.”
“Then why are you willing to play such a childish game with me?” Victoria continued to poke his heart.
Arnold held her hand and replied, “I don’t think this is a game. I’m serious, so I’m willing to say it this way if it makes you happy.”
Victoria couldn’t help but feel that Arnold was dominating, tender, and insidious.
“I like it, and I also want the person I love to carry me far, far away.”
As soon as Victoria finished speaking, Arnold immediately lifted her horizontally.
“Ah…!”
Victoria screamed as Arnold swung her onto his back, and she wrapped her arms around his neck while his strong hands held her legs.
“You’re so bad!” Victoria laughed even more happily, “But I love it!”
Hearing these words, Arnold felt a surge of energy. He held her tightly and began to run.
They were like a young couple in love, happily running and laughing on the grass…
As if bound by an unspoken agreement, they celebrated their lives after the catastrophe together from day to night, and from night to day, and again from day to night – eating when hungry, sleeping when tired, and always kissing and hugging each other.
“When are we going back?” Victoria asked.
Arnold countered, “When do you want to leave?”
“Now!” Victoria replied without hesitation.
Arnold hesitated, “Can we wait another thirty minutes?”
“Fine, I’ll allow you to use that time to prepare the plane.” Victoria said playfully.
Arnold gently scratched her nose and said with affection, “As you wish.”
Victoria and Arnold sat on the sofa in their hotel room, with her head resting in his arm.
“Sydney Bennett, she…” Victoria brought up her name.
Arnold patted her on the shoulder and said softly, “She has her own destination. Nothing to worry about.”
“Is she still alive?” Victoria couldn’t help but ask.
Arnold didn’t hide anything and replied, “I handed her and her father over to Kinsley Perez to handle. As for their life and death, I said I wouldn’t intervene.”
“Kinsley Perez?” Victoria repeated the name with a puzzled expression.
Seeing her adorable expression, Arnold patiently explained what kind of person Kinsley Perez was and the intricacies between her and Roger Bennett.
“I never expected that Roger would be such a snob. If it were me, I would want to tear him apart!” Victoria clenched her teeth and said fiercely.
Arnold comforted her, “Don’t worry, Kinsley will be even more ruthless.”
Regarding Sydney, the two didn’t bring her up again. She was a woman who was hateful, pitiful, and tragic. If Sydney hadn’t handed Victoria over to the Middle East Union so cruelly, Arnold wouldn’t have told her about such a cruel piece of information.
However, since Sydney was already resigned to death, there wasn’t anything left for her to worry about.
