Chapter 383: Playing prank after drinking 2 Chapter 383: Playing prank after drinking 2 Unable to resist, Sydney Bennett playfully and skeptically asked, “Does Arnold Johnson really cook? Is that true or false? It’s hard to believe!”
“Of course, it’s true. He makes delicious dishes. The next time you come to Metropolis, you can ask Arnold to cook a meal for you to taste!” Victoria Garcia held her wine glass and gulped down another glass, her eyes becoming more and more blurred.
Arnold, however, replied without mincing words, “Do you think I’d cook for just anyone? It’s just because I spoil you that I learned recipes to cook for you. No one else has that possibility.”
This indirect message was to tell Sydney that Arnold wouldn’t cook for her.
“I never thought there’d be a woman who could capture Arnold’s heart these days!” Sydney pretended not to know and continued, “Come on! Let’s toast to that!”
“Alright, let’s toast to tying him down!” Victoria unconsciously pointed at Arnold, laughing.
Arnold couldn’t help but touch his forehead, realizing that this woman was already drunk beyond reason.
Yet, in another corner of his heart, he had to admit that her talkative side was charming in its own way, a side he rarely saw.
After a few more glasses, Arnold stood up and said directly to Sydney, “We have to go back.”
Seeing this, Sydney also smiled and stood up, “Okay, see you tomorrow!”
“Yeah, see you tomorrow!” Victoria stood up as well, swaying a bit, Arnold quickly caught her in his arms.
Victoria naturally leaned against him, giggling and saying, “Let’s have another drink for the good times we had tonight!”
“For another meeting, let’s have another drink!”
After two more drinks, Arnold snatched away her glass and said to Sydney, “We’re leaving!”
“Where are you staying? I’ll come to play with you guys tomorrow!”
“No need!” As Arnold spoke, Victoria also said at the same time, “Autumn Mountain Maple Villa!”
Oh, that damned woman. She didn’t even know she’d been sold out after drinking.
Arnold vowed once more: He would never let her drink with anyone else, including women!
As Sydney watched the two get into the car and disappear from her sight, her eyes gradually became sharp, and she couldn’t help but say, “Arnold, I still remember what happened all those years ago. How could you forget?”
“But I’ll make you remember, and you’ll never forget it again!”
After getting into the car, Victoria was still not sober, but she wasn’t completely unconscious either, so her talkative mode became even stronger.
“Arnold, where are we going?”
“We’re going back to the hotel!”
“Why aren’t we going home? I want to go home!” Victoria mumbled to herself.
“Wait a couple more days, and we’ll go home!”
“Who will I see when I go home? Will I see you? Or will I see your big and small wives?” As she spoke, Victoria was already laughing foolishly, her mind in disarray.
“Don’t worry, my only wife is you!”
“Alright, then when are you going to marry me?” Victoria murmured.
Arnold replied, “As long as you’re willing, I’ll marry you when we get home!”
“Ok, I’m willing, I’ll marry you when we get home!”
As she kept talking, Victoria began humming a song, “I’m going to marry you tomorrow! I’m going to marry you tomorrow! I’m going to marry you tomorrow! I’m going to marry you tomorrow…”
