Chapter 354 - 354 As white as jade 3
Chapter 354: As white as jade 3 Chapter 354: As white as jade 3 Hannah Garcia handed her phone to Young Master, smiling, “Thank you!”
Young Master took the phone, his face impassive as he prepared to leave.
Hannah stepped in front of him, cheerfully saying, “When you meet me again, Young Master, remember that we’ve met before.”
“Doesn’t matter.” Young Master responded coldly.
Hannah felt the sting of that emotional hit. Undeterred, she continued, “Of course it matters. You saved my life twice. For me, you are the most important man in my life.”
In her excitement, Hannah let her true thoughts slip.
Young Master simply regarded her with a cold expression and without a word, strode off.
Hannah waved goodbye cheerfully at his retreating figure, “Bye! We will meet again!”
The figure in the distance didn’t look back, continuing forward. Young Master’s assistant followed, silent, curious about when Young Master had become so generous – not only did he rescue her, but he even lent her his phone. Normally, he wouldn’t be moved, even if a stranger was dying in front of him.
For the unpredictable Young Master, his assistant simply shook his head and continued to follow him.
Hannah felt a chilling breeze and only then realised she had been gesticulating wildly, her bedsheet wrap revealing a lot more than intended. She quickly adjusted herself and headed towards the hotel door.
She looked around, relieved no one had seen her or else she would have died of embarrassment.
Before long, Victoria Garcia’s car pulled up in front of Hannah.
Hannah rushed into the car. Seeing her sister like this, Victoria couldn’t help but worry and asked again, “Don’t keep this from your sister, what happened?”
Hannah excitedly replied, “If you insist that something happened, then something major did.”
“What major thing?”
“I met my God again! And it was my God who saved me! I could barely breathe and I still feel my heart racing.” Images of Young Master flashed through Hannah’s mind. Though stuck with an eternal icy expression, in Hannah’s imagination, it had transformed into countless different faces.
Victoria was annoyed, “So I was worrying for nothing while you were fantasizing about your God!”
“You don’t understand. When you’re in such a desperate situation and a hero suddenly emerges – especially a hero you’ve been longing for – you can’t imagine how thrilled I was.” Hannah had her hands clutched over her heart.
“Why would your God know you were in danger? Did he rush over to rescue you specifically?” Victoria asked directly.
Hannah felt deflated at the question, not wanting to explain.
Her God didn’t come to save her. Her God didn’t even think of saving her… Those facts, she had promptly filtered them out of her mind.
After Victoria’s persistent “interrogation”, Hannah was forced to give a rough sketch of what happened.
After listening, Victoria felt a chill seeping into her palms. Had Hannah’s God not shown up, even if she transferred the money to Nicholas Garcia, Harriet could have also been ruined by that damned Autumn Nelson.
Victoria thought of this, wishing she could skin Nicholas Garcia alive…..
