Chapter 320: Destined Outcome 4 Chapter 320: Destined Outcome 4 Though the word “bitch” wasn’t said loudly, Archibald heard it clearly.
Archibald’s steps faltered, but unwilling to let it go, he retorted, “In the future, I hope I don’t see you end up worse off than a bitch.”
“Archibald, you shameless bastard! You took so many benefits from me, but when I had a problem, you turned your back on me immediately. People like you, ungrateful and treacherous, are worse than bitches!” Mia Garcia yelled.
Archibald suddenly sneered, “Mia, do you know why the company didn’t want to protect you when you got into trouble? It’s because your mouth owes too much!”
He scornfully asked, “What other skills do you have besides being arrogant and looking down on others, relying on your family’s investment and barely getting some roles? I’ll tell you what, you have nothing. Now that your family has collapsed, you’re a phoenix worse than a chicken!”
Still not satisfied, Archibald continued, “Oh, I was mistaken. You were never a phoenix to begin with, just a wild chicken mistaken for a phoenix. Don’t forget, your mother is a shameless bitch who snatched a cousin’s husband and climbed her way up!”
Upon hearing these words, Mia’s face turned purple with anger, and she grabbed her computer and threw it at Archibald while cursing, “You fucking bitch, get out! I, Mia Garcia, swear that one day, I will make sure you won’t be able to survive in the Entertainment Circle!”
“If you want to ruin me, think about how you’ll survive first. Perhaps entering the adult industry is your best choice!”
With that, Archibald laughed heartily and walked out, feeling incredibly relieved.
As Mia’s agent for almost two years, he had endured her mistreatment and disregard of the staff. Today, she deserved to be stepped on!
Once the agent left, the room regained its deathly silence, and Mia’s anger only grew. She vowed revenge on all those who had looked down on her.
She wondered who else could help her, who else, who else…
Suddenly, she had an idea—her father had been arrested, but she still had her mother, Clara Brown!
Thinking that, Mia disregarded her makeup, threw on a hat, and stormed out. She had to go home to see her mother.
Her apartment was just a half-hour drive away from her family villa.
When she got out of the car, she found two people in police uniforms blocking the entrance. What were they doing here?
Mia quickly rushed in, only to be stopped before she could enter.
“No one is allowed to enter while the house is being searched.”
“Get out of my way! This is my house, and I want to see my mom!” Mia angrily retorted.
One of the officers, realizing she was one of the residents, kindly said, “Let her in.”
Upon hearing this, the other officer no longer stopped her.
Mia hastily entered the villa to find many items labeled with tags. Furiously, she shouted, “What are you doing?”
Hearing Mia’s voice, Clara Brown hurried out from another room and exclaimed, “Mia, you’re back!”
“Mom!” Mia looked at Clara’s haggard face, which seemed to have aged a decade.
“As long as you’re back, everything’s fine!” Clara grasped her hand as if clutching a lifeline.
“Why are they sealing our house?” Mia asked.
