Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please! -
Chapter 274 - 274 Destroyed Show 3
Chapter 274: Destroyed Show 3 Chapter 274: Destroyed Show 3 One after another, beautiful and elegant dresses shuttled back and forth on the models. The audience watching the show gasped in amazement and sighed in admiration.
The exquisite lace, the unparalleled embroidery on silk, and the harmonious blend of fur – these three elements came together to create a new visual experience.
When the show ended, the audience stood up and gave a round of applause that lasted a long time.
Victoria couldn’t help but smile with joy.
As some people celebrated the success, others worried about their future.
The next day, Terry Garcia called Victoria into his office.
“What’s up?” Victoria asked directly.
Terry looked at the woman before him, her delicate features, elegant attire, and unmistakable aura. She demanded attention.
“I heard you want to fire Sophie Chester, is that true?” Terry asked, getting straight to the point.
Victoria replied, “She ruined the show. It’s impossible to let her stay in that position.”
“The show yesterday got great feedback. How could you say she ruined it?” Terry asked, puzzled.
Seeing his feigned ignorance, Victoria wished she could slap him.
“You called me here, so I thought you understood the situation. If you don’t, let me explain again. All the clothes she prepared were stained with ink. If there were no backup clothes, the show would have been a joke.”
“Since there’s backup clothing, why fire her?” Terry continued to pretend.
“The backup clothing wasn’t prepared by her, but by the Design Department.”
“It doesn’t matter. You’re her superior, and you’re naturally more thorough. Firing people for one mistake is bad for the company.” Terry lectured her from a workplace morality standpoint.
Victoria didn’t have the patience for his games. “Is it that you don’t want to fire her or is it Sophie Chester specifically you don’t want to fire?”
“What do you mean by that?” Terry’s face darkened. “Sophie Chester isn’t just an ordinary employee. I’m just being objective.”
“She’s indeed not ordinary – how could an employee who has shared a bed with the president be ordinary?”
“What nonsense are you talking about?” Terry stood up, slapping the table.
Victoria was unfazed by his outburst.
“Whether it’s nonsense or not, you know in your heart,” Victoria said disdainfully. “Cindy Moore returned to the company because everyone says her bed skills are great, so the president went against the CEO’s wife’s wishes and brought her back. As for Sophie Chester, it’s obvious her bed skills are good; otherwise, you wouldn’t be talking to me like this.”
“You…you’re just…” Terry was furious again. “You’re a young girl, and all you talk about is bed skills. Have you no upbringing?”
Victoria retorted, “I’m sorry, but my parents are both dead.”
Terry, infuriated, picked up a file from the table and threw it at her. Victoria lightly stepped aside and dodged it.
“You’re deliberately opposing me.”
“You’re only just realizing that now.” Victoria didn’t bother to hide her feelings.
“If you keep meddling in personnel affairs like this, aren’t you afraid I’ll fire you?” Terry threatened.
Victoria’s disdainful smile became more evident.
Seeing her smile like this, Terry felt an inexplicable panic.
