Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please!
Chapter 242 - 242 Frank Johnson 3

Chapter 242: Frank Johnson 3 Chapter 242: Frank Johnson 3 Under the pressure of Hannah Garcia and the indifferent treatment from Evelyn Garcia, sadness and despair filled Frank Johnson’s eyes.

“Evelyn, I promise to stick to what I said. Please believe me and wait for me!”

“Enough already! You’ve said that at least eight hundred times. If I hear it again, my ears will develop calluses,” Hannah Garcia said impatiently. “The way you’re chasing girls is just driving them to despair. If my sister falls for a guy like you, she wouldn’t be Evelyn Garcia anymore.”

“So what kind of guy would your sister go for?”

At this point, Hannah Garcia truly regretted her loose tongue and saying too much.

“Tell me, please!” Frank Johnson’s gaze was incredibly eager, sincere and persistent.

Without waiting for Hannah to speak, Evelyn, like an angry kitten, growled, “Hannah Garcia, mind your own business or I’ll deal with you back home!”

Hannah immediately closed her mouth. It was a dangerous thing when the usually gentle and somewhat weak younger sister spoke in such a tone. Hannah prided herself not only on her beauty but also on her ability to gauge situations.

Frank Johnson looked at the furious Evelyn with her hair disheveled, lending her a different charm. Her pale, petulant face and autumn-water-like eyes resembled a frightened deer and an angry kitten simultaneously, stirring endless waves in his heart.

“Evelyn, don’t be angry. I’ll leave right now!” Frank couldn’t bear to take his eyes off Evelyn. Seeing her turn her back on him, he muttered to her retreating figure, “Don’t worry, you’ll be safe, and you’ll be able to go home in less than ten minutes.”

“Hannah, there’s a car I arranged outside. When you guys leave, the driver will take you home.” Frank turned to Hannah and said, “Don’t refuse. It’s hard to get a ride in Metropolis at this hour.”

Hannah did not dare to object, so she just mumbled her agreement.

Frank took one last deep look at Evelyn’s back before reluctantly leaving.

Not far after he walked out, Victoria Garcia was coming from the other side, followed by Arnold Johnson, and the three of them met face to face.

Victoria’s eyes flickered in surprise, but she quickly regained her composure.

She leaned down to Arnold and said, “I’ll go first. You don’t need to wait for me.”

Victoria naturally knew who Frank was, after all, her mother had saved his life unintentionally. It was also because of him that she had met Arnold…

“Sister!” Frank greeted Victoria politely.

Victoria offered a polite smile in return and left without a word.

She didn’t need her sisters to explain why Frank had suddenly appeared here—she could guess some of it herself.

Back then, when Frank was recovering at the Garcia Family, it was mainly Evelyn who had been taking care of him. Several times, Victoria had seen the unusual light in Frank’s eyes when he looked at her younger sister Evelyn.

After Victoria left, Frank approached Arnold and respectfully addressed him, “Little Uncle.”

Both men were intelligent. With just a few exchanged glances, they had a rough idea of each other’s intentions.

“It’s getting late, do you want me to give you a ride home?” Arnold asked.

Frank did not refuse and replied, “That would be kind of you, Little Uncle.”
