“You wait here for me for a moment, and I’ll be right back.” With that, Victoria walked out.

As she turned the corner of a room, she saw a male figure walking towards her sisters’ room at the end of the other side.

Hannah wanted to say a few words to comfort her younger sister, but someone walked in before she could speak. She thought it was her big sister Victoria returning, but when she saw the face of the person, all her anger surged up.

“Frank Johnson, how dare you show up here! You must be here to gloat, right?” Hannah spoke quickly, glaring at him with a mocking expression in her beautiful eyes.

Ever since Frank walked in, his gaze had not left Evelyn. He looked at her frightened eyes, like a scared little bunny, which made his heart ache.

“Evelyn, are you okay?”

Hearing him calling her younger sister Evelyn, Hannah’s eyes widened in horror. What was going on?
