Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please!
Chapter 238 - 238 Serves them right 2

Chapter 238: Serves them right 2 Chapter 238: Serves them right 2 In the midst of the commotion, it didn’t take long for the police to notice their arrival.

A male officer with triangular eyes walked over and looked at Victoria Garcia, questioning with some displeasure in his voice, “So you’re the eldest sister of Hannah Garcia and Evelyn Garcia?”

Victoria was initially taken aback upon hearing this, as she assumed only Hannah was in trouble, not realizing it also involved her younger sister, Evelyn.

“Yes, that’s me!” Victoria replied, “What crime did my sisters commit?”

“Obviously, it’s a serious matter; otherwise, they wouldn’t be taken into custody.” The triangular-eyed officer was clearly hostile in his attitude.

Victoria remained silent, waiting for his explanation.

“Fighting and brawling are what boys do. I didn’t expect your sisters to engage in such activities, let alone inflict such serious injuries that the other party was hospitalized. This is not something that can be easily resolved.”

Victoria didn’t believe her sisters would do such a thing. Even if they did, she was sure it was the opponent’s fault first, and they were the ones who started it.

“Where are my sisters? I want to see them now, so I can understand what happened.” Victoria said.

That triangular-eyed officer scoffed, “The situation is just as I said – fighting and leaving the opponent seriously injured and hospitalized. It’s even more horrifying than what delinquent girls would do.”

Victoria frowned and asked, “Why did they fight? Who started it first?”

“Haha… it’s quite ridiculous. They fought over jealousy for a man, and of course, it was your sisters who started it. The other party is made up of well-behaved, famous ladies. How could they possibly start a fight?”

“Did you see it with your own eyes, or did my sister admit to starting the fight?” Victoria asked aggressively.

Hearing this, the triangular-eyed officer slammed the file on the table and shouted, “What? Are you saying I, a police officer, would lie? I said your sister started the fight because there’s evidence!”

“What evidence? Is it just what the well-behaved, famous ladies said?” Victoria didn’t back down an inch, despite the officer’s loud actions.

“What are you trying to say? Are you suggesting I’m lying?” the triangular-eyed officer roared with anger once again.

Victoria calmly replied, “I don’t know if you’re lying or not, but all I’ve been hearing is that well-behaved, famous ladies don’t lie. Whatever they say is the truth. I just found out that police can settle a case based solely on one side of the story.”

“What’s with the sharp-tongued attitude? Are you unhappy that they have a higher status and character than you all? What can you do if you’re unhappy? I’m not afraid to tell you, what they said is the truth!” The teeth showing through the officer’s sneer were extremely nauseating to see.

“The truth is not determined by what you claim, but by the actual facts.”

“What I just said is the truth!”

“We came to see my sisters, not to hear you lay the blame on them!” Victoria could now conclude that this man was either on the other party’s side or had been bribed by them – wasting any more time talking to someone like this would be a waste of time.

The triangular-eyed officer wanted to say something else, but Arnold Johnson gave him a cold look and said indifferently, “If you don’t think you have the authority to let us visit, then go find someone who has the authority.”
