Wearing nude colors was advantageous for fair-skinned people, especially for someone young and fair like Victoria. In comparison, Clara was left looking like dust.

Clara’s lips twitched noticeably, not expecting they’d wear the same color, let alone the same outfit.

“Victoria, I have something to discuss with you,” Clara clenched her fists, trying to sound as natural as possible.

But Victoria didn’t want to give her much face, “There’s nothing to talk about between us.”

“We don’t have any liking for each other, but as for some of your mother’s belongings left with me, I think you’d be interested.”

Sure enough, as soon as Josephine was mentioned, Victoria softened.

“You have two minutes.” Victoria opened the office door and went straight in.

The moment the door closed, Clara’s expression changed.

Victoria was no stranger to this kind of change.

“What exactly do you want?” Victoria cut to the chase.

Clara didn’t want to waste time with her either, speaking directly, “I want you to voluntarily resign from your position as Vice President of the company.”

“Am I listening to a joke?” Victoria responded dismissively.

Clara replied calmly: “I have something of your mother’s. If you don’t become the vice-president and never involve yourself in the company’s business again, I won’t make it public. If you don’t agree, I’ll have no choice but to expose it.”

“Let me see what it is.” Victoria was surprised but knew Clara was capable of such things; she just didn’t know what she had.

Clara opened her bag and threw a stack of photos onto the office desk.

Victoria picked them up and saw her mother, Josephine Garcia, and a completely unfamiliar man.

The two naked people, none of them wearing clothes…

Such photos obviously shocked Victoria. She couldn’t believe this was her mother, and it was impossible for her mother to have done such a thing.

“You’re using these Photoshopped pictures to make me give up everything in the company?” Victoria confronted Clara after calming down, “I’m telling you, I don’t believe this is true, and I won’t agree to your terms.”
