Chapter 144: Sentence 2 Chapter 144: Sentence 2 Victoria Garcia stood up and stared down at her from above.

Audrey Scott suddenly felt suffocated, as if a looming aura surrounded Victoria.

“In the face of interests, whether Terry Garcia can protect them or not, you know better than I do.”

After finishing these words, Victoria didn’t give her a chance to speak further.

With a turn of her body, Audrey was taken away.

Later, she died with her eyes wide open.

After getting out of prison, Victoria drove alone to her mother’s grave.

Gazing at the gentle smile on her mother’s tombstone, she felt an unusual calmness, as if she was still there.

Standing there quietly for a long time, her mind was blank.

Until there was a sound from behind.

“Sis!”

Victoria turned her head and saw Amelia Wilson’s face, appearing a little surprised.

“How did you get here?”

“If you can come to see mom, why can’t I?” Amelia said somewhat domineeringly.

Amelia, dressed in black, looked as white as snow.

“Didn’t you say you joined Campbell Entertainment Company and were busy recently?” Victoria changed the subject.

Amelia took out two movie tickets from her bag and handed them to Victoria, “Here, take these and go watch with your prince. This is my premiere.”

“You’ve already filmed a movie so fast?” Victoria asked incredulously.

Amelia shrugged, “How is that possible? This is a small role I got before signing with Campbell Entertainment Company. But it’s my first movie, and I hope you’ll go see it. The plot is actually not bad.”

Victoria took the movie tickets and put them in her bag.

“Mom, big sister is amazing. She dealt with the murderer who killed our grandparents and recovered some of the group shares, and she takes care of me and Mia.” Amelia began to speak in front of Josephine Garcia’s tombstone, “I’ve also signed with Campbell Entertainment Company, and things will get better and better. You can rest assured over there.”

Listening silently, Victoria unconsciously placed her hand on Amelia’s shoulder.

“Sis, are you going to join the group next?” Amelia asked directly.

Upon hearing this, Victoria nodded and said, “Yes, I will attend the board meeting next week.”

“So you’re going to start a war with Terry Garcia and his gang of bastards, right?” When Amelia mentioned this, her voice held a hint of suppressed excitement.

Victoria didn’t conceal it from her, “More or less.”

“If there’s anything you need me for, you must tell me.” Amelia spoke while rubbing her hands, “I know it’s hard for me to help you now, but sis, can you leave Mia Garcia for me to deal with?”

Amelia gritted her teeth when she said Mia’s name.

“Okay, but be careful with her. She’s full of wicked ideas.” Victoria reminded.

Amelia said fiercely, “Don’t worry, for all the hidden suffering she’s put me through, I’ll make her pay double. Remember, she owes me a lot, and if I don’t get my due, I won’t be Amelia Wilson.”

Looking at her indignant face, Victoria couldn’t help but feel amused and angry at the same time.

“It’s getting late, let’s go home. They must be getting anxious waiting at home.”

The weekend was a time for the sisters to reunite, and they would all go home unless something extraordinary happened, as per Victoria’s rules.

As for their recent successes, the sisters cheerfully raised their glasses in celebration with Joyce and Jonathan.

Together, they talked about dreams, the future, how to take back the group, and what kind of fate should befall those on the other side…
