Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please!
Chapter 1184 - 1184 The big move 2 at the wedding

Chapter 1184: The big move 2 at the wedding Chapter 1184: The big move 2 at the wedding By the time the Collins Family received the news, the post had already gone viral.

In fact, the Collins Family received the information quite swiftly, but the speed at which the post spread was so fast that they couldn’t react before it blew up.

With such juicy content, and considering the way Harry Collins’ post had primed the audience for so long, it would have been surprising if it hadn’t caught fire upon release.

As the wedding proceeded, the expressions of the Collins Family members had gradually turned colder, unable to maintain their composure any longer.

At this point, Eric Collins could no longer care about saving face, standing in front of his in-law, Louis Clark.

“Recently I don’t know whom I’ve offended; I can’t suppress the post, and this time, the matter has arisen so urgently. So, I want to ask for Louis’s help to get this situation under control,” he said.

“Hmm, I’ll make a call to Official Scott,” Louis replied.

Soon, Official Scott answered Louis’s call and promised to handle it as quickly as possible.

“Louis, I really owe you one this time!” Eric said with a sigh of relief.

Although Louis looked down upon such behavior, he was an outsider to the Collins Family and naturally refrained from interfering too much.

The two families had long been related by marriage, but there were still things he felt he could advise: “Eric, you should be more cautious about these matters. At critical times like these, it can cause significant damage to the family business,” he said.

Eric was, of course, well aware of this, and it was what worried him most.

Initially, he had hoped to stabilize and incrementally increase Collins’ stock by leveraging the marriage between the Collins Family and Thomas Family. However, this sudden curveball rendered all his efforts obsolete.

Just as Eric was about to say something, Louis’s phone rang—it was Official Scott calling back.

Louis answered quickly, but upon hearing Official Scott’s words, his expression darkened, “How could it not be suppressed? Official Scott, you must be joking,” he said.

“Director Thomas, I wouldn’t dare to joke with you; I’m also surprised by the turn of events. We couldn’t suppress the Third Young Master Collins’ post before, and it seems someone high up has given orders. I think you should ask the Collins Family if they have offended any dignitary,” Official Scott explained.

After a brief conversation, Louis hung up the phone.

A dignitary? Wasn’t Official Scott himself a high-ranking official? What a joke!

Eric, standing by his side, had overheard some of the conversation and asked anxiously, “Louis, it can’t be suppressed?”

Louis frowned and said, “It seems I’ve really gotten old, to be unable to influence such an official anymore.”

“How could that be? That’s impossible!” Eric’s entire face turned pale.

“Has your family offended someone recently? They said it was being intentionally suppressed, and it’s clear they are deliberately withholding approval,” Louis remarked.

Eric painfully admitted, “I don’t know who we’ve offended; everything has been too bizarre lately.”

“Alright, you need to think of a solution fast. I’ll also see if I can lobby someone on my end. But if this issue isn’t resolved, you need to consider the company’s Stock Price when the market opens on Monday; if it continues like this, I’m afraid you’ll lose not only your reputation but the company itself,” Louis stated bluntly.

Sometimes, seemingly minor issues may not appear so critical, but they are often the precursors to vast conspiracies.

The fluctuation in the Collins’ stock was definitely orchestrated; otherwise, these two social media posts wouldn’t shake the foundation of Collins Family like this!
