Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please!
Chapter 1177 - 1177 Which man are you involved with

Chapter 1177: Which man are you involved with? Chapter 1177: Which man are you involved with? Everyone was telling Rosalind Collins about the harsh reality of her situation and what she would face if she didn’t marry into the Thomas Family as well as what the Collins Family would face…

Actually, Rosalind knew all of this.

What she couldn’t accept, aside from not being able to marry Grayson Thomas, was the fact that her closest family members, when faced with difficulties, did not hesitate to push her out without a single word of concern.

Even a simple inquiry about her feelings would have made her less resistant.

Soon, the living room emptied and Rosalind sat there, somewhat dazedly lost in her thoughts.

At that moment,

Mia Garcia came downstairs, merely intending to grab something to eat before returning upstairs, but she hadn’t expected the Young Miss to still be sitting there.

Instinctively, she thought of avoiding her.

Yet, thinking that she was a part of this family and was carrying the Collins child, why should she be afraid to eat something when she was hungry?

With these thoughts in mind, Mia approached and respectfully called out when she was near Rosalind, “Big sister!”

Rosalind saw Mia without even lifting her eyelids.

Seeing that Rosalind didn’t respond, Mia naturally didn’t say anything more, and took some pastries from the snack cabinet to return to her room.

As Mia turned around, however, she caught Rosalind glaring at her with angry eyes.

“With everything that’s happened in this family, I guess you’re probably the only one who can still eat like nothing bothers you,” Rosalind said with a look full of mockery.

Mia replied, “When you’re hungry, you have to eat something. You’ll understand this feeling when you marry into the Thomas Family and have a baby.”

“Hmph! Who knows whose seed you’re carrying in your belly. When the child is born, who knows if you’ll still be able to strut around so confidently,” Rosalind said venomously.

Mia felt that Rosalind was very different from when they had first met. The once graceful and composed Collins Family Young Lady was just a facade for outsiders, after all.

“Big sister, don’t speak so harshly. What if when the child is born, it proves you wrong? What good would that do for you?” Mia spoke softly. “Besides, the whole issue with the flyer was just a farce, and Mom, Dad, and Grandma all believe in me. Why must big sister doubt so much?”

Rosalind felt unpleasant with every single word she heard.

Mia also noticed her discomfort and continued, “Big sister, you really don’t have to be like this. Think about it; you have a good family background, a fine husband, and the honor of being the Thomas Family Head’s Wife. Your child will be the future heir. As long as the Thomas family exists, you will be admired by everyone. Such a life is already the envy of most women in the Nation of Authority Country. I don’t understand why you are still so unhappy and displeased?”

“What do you know! People of your lower class will never understand,” Rosalind retorted.

Mia felt that Rosalind could sometimes be especially difficult to get along with. Despite saying so many pleasant things, she still maintained such an attitude.

“Indeed, those of the lower class might not understand because their dream might just be to become part of the upper class. However, I think the upper class rarely wishes to become lower class, then toil every day for a living, with women scrimping and saving for a frugal life, setting aside money for their children’s education, enrolling them in an interest class, or occasionally buying themselves a dress that costs more than a hundred,” Mia said.
