Chapter 1104: Considering that we look a bit alike, 2 Chapter 1104: Considering that we look a bit alike, 2 Grayson Thomas looked at Hannah Garcia and said coldly, “Speak English.”
He didn’t have the patience to listen to her pretentious drivel any further.
Hannah felt that this ‘God’ was fine in all aspects except that he was too devoid of sentiment, forgetting that it was exactly his cool and aloof charm that she had initially fallen for.
“Because my new house is next to yours, I’ve just moved in, and since I hadn’t settled in fully, I came over to borrow something. That’s when I saw your adorably cute Dragon and Phoenix Baby. After asking around, I realized it was your place. I believe this is fate arranged by the heavens.” Hannah didn’t forget to smile and asked, “Don’t you think this is a blessing from the gods?”
“…”
“Don’t blame your aunt. I was the one who convinced her by saying I knew you. I mentioned where you work and who lives in your home, and then she was willing to let me hold your Dragon and Phoenix Baby.”
“Look, I wasn’t originally planning to come to your house to borrow something. I intended to ask the neighbor on the right, but they weren’t home. So, I ended up at your place. See, isn’t this fate?”
Grayson Thomas stood aside, watching as Hannah laid out her smoothly spun tale, but none of her words passed his scrutiny.
“Keep making up your stories,” Grayson Thomas said directly.
With one sentence, he turned Hannah’s impending enthusiasm into nothingness.
However, there was one thing she was determined to pretend to the bitter end, and that was she truly hadn’t approached him on purpose.
“Alright, I admit that some things were intentional, but some really were fate,” Hannah said half-truthfully, “Moving here and borrowing things was truly a coincidence. After entering the house, I realized it was yours because I saw the label on the shirts your aunt was ironing; they were identical to the ones you wear. Then I saw the Dragon and Phoenix Baby, so I guessed you must live here.”
“When I figured that out, my heart almost leaped out of my chest. As you know, I’ve always wanted to be your woman. Such a good opportunity, I naturally couldn’t miss. So I started to get close by telling your aunt that I knew it was the Thomas Family and so on. Besides wanting to get close to her, of course, I wanted to love your little babies too, but my affection for the two babies is genuine, swear to God!”
On this point, Hannah spoke with utmost sincerity.
Because she truly loved the Dragon and Phoenix Baby from the bottom of her heart.
“Hannah Garcia, don’t you dare covet my children, or you’ll have me to answer to,” Grayson Thomas warned with a daunting look in his eyes.
Hannah found this side of him stern and quite frightening.
But fleeing just like that wasn’t her style. Hannah Garcia never backed down from anything, not even in academics where she always came in first.
“How could I possibly covet them when I look so much like your children?” Hannah asserted confidently, “To put it bluntly, if anyone dares to mess with Joyce and Jonathan, I would fight them tooth and nail!”
“…”
Why did he sense an awkward feeling listening to this?
This feeling was as if she was actually Joyce and Jonathan’s mother, which was utterly absurd!
Grayson Thomas felt that Hannah Garcia was lingering like a ghost that wouldn’t disappear and needed to be driven away. Otherwise, with her staying in front of him, he felt as if everything was slipping out of control, and he really disliked that feeling.
