“I’m sorry! I misspoke. Please don’t be mad! And, I’m really not interested in that girl!” Wu Xiaoyu apologized and explained.

Bai Yun, seeing his sincere face, couldn’t stay angry. After all, they were just friends… just friends!

Seeing Bai Yun calm down, Wu Xiaoyu thanked her and talked about his recent business.

As they were deep in conversation, Wu Xiaoyu’s phone suddenly rang. It was a call from an unfamiliar number.

He answered the phone, and the person on the other end asked, “Is this Mr. Wu Xiaoyu? I’m an employee from the Wu Wei 4S dealership. You just purchased a vehicle from us to be delivered to Longhe Town. Is that correct?”

Realizing it was a call from the 4S dealership, Wu Xiaoyu quickly confirmed the delivery address.

However, after confirming the address, the person didn’t end the call but politely asked, “Are you heading back now? If you are, I can give you a ride!”

Wu Xiaoyu checked the time in the shop. It was already past four, time to go back. He said goodbye to Bai Yun and hurried back to the 4S dealership.

The sales manager at the dealership quickly arranged a salesperson to drive Wu Xiaoyu to Longhe Town.

When they arrived back in Longhe Town, it was already after five. The driver parked the vehicle next to Jiji and left.

Wu Xiaoyu took out the keys and walked into Jiji, twirling them on his fingertip.

As he was tallying the accounts behind the counter, Zhou Dong heard the waitress calling Mr. Wu, and turned to see Wu Xiaoyu swaggering in arrogantly.

Zhou Dong quickly dropped what he was doing and came over. Seeing the car keys in Wu Xiaoyu’s hand, he couldn’t help laughing and said, “Holy crap! Upgraded from a bird gun to a cannon?”

Zhou Dong followed him around the corner and saw an unlicensed Wuling parked there. He pursed his lips and cursed,

“Damn! You made so much money, but you didn’t buy a better car? I could have joined in and basked in your glory!”

Wu Xiaoyu opened the car door, and both of them got in. He then explained, “Dude, I didn’t buy this car to show off. In fact, I don’t even plan on driving it back home!”

Zhou Dong was puzzled. If he bought the car not to drive it back, then to let it rust or breed? he thought.

Seeing Zhou Dong’s confusion, Wu Xiaoyu explained, “This car is for deliveries! We’ll use it for store procurement and delivering goods to the county!”

“Do you have a driver’s license?” Zhou Dong asked directly.

In fact, Wu Xiaoyu wasn’t impulsive in purchasing the vehicle. He had considered it carefully and investigated that little Li had a driver’s license, so they could always rely on him for deliveries.

Besides, Wu Xiaoyu himself could always learn to drive. He wouldn’t be unable to get a license, right?

Zhou Dong checked the car’s interior and then led Wu Xiaoyu back to the store to call little Li over.
